Hi there! I'm Tinu, a proud entrepreneur, owner of two micro-businesses. Along with my team, I've been helping small to medium businesses and non-profits bring people to their websites since 1998.
What brings me here
I have a spinal condition and related neuralgia I have had since 1993. I sometimes go years without having a major problem besides ongoing pain (that doctors help manage).
About twice a decade though, I run into a problem that knocks me out of commission for a month or so while my doctors help adjust my treatment plan.
Despite the fact that until recently I had no health insurance, I'm normally prepared for this.
This time though, doctors say my condition needs more immediate and surgical solutions. I feel a little blindsided.
So I'm offering my online marketing expertise in exchange for your help to raise monies for these medical procedures.
I am looking forward to having the minor surgeries but there’s one tiny detail I need to share with you.
At this point, I still need to raise $14,000 .
This isn't an arbitrary number. My new insurance covers some things, but not everything.
And in order to come back to a business that won't overwhelm my staff while I'm gone, there are certain bills that have to keep getting paid. In addition, I need a few weeks after each procedure to recover, go to physical therapy, pay for what's not covered by my insurance, as well as cover my business and personal bills for at least two months.
That’s not a lot of money - with more notice I could raise it myself. But it'll still cost more than I have on my own. My family has been incredibly supportive, but they can only do so much with 8 days of notice.
I've been trying to work and take care of this problem at the same time for about a year, and it's not working. So I’m asking customers and clients like you to help me out any way you can.
Even $25 would mean a lot.

As you can imagine, I'm pretty excited about the possibility - if you know me, you've seen what me and two staff members can do when I'm IN pain. I'm sure I'll be TWICE as efficient without it!

How Your Help Will Completely Change My LIfe
If I reach my funding goal, I'll be able to:

get all three procedures done over a 6 week period
- take time off for the surgeries, the recovery time, and physical therapy
- keep my two businesses open
- keep working on entrepreneur projects while I'm gone.
- There's a really good chance I'll start living a pain-free life.
I've tried, many times, to reach a permanent resolution to my health problems while working.
And after several years of stubbornly trying the alternatives, I've learned that I need the short time away - family and friends have rallied to make the actual time off possible.
But I still need to pay for what insurance won't cover, pay bills, and keep my businesses open so I'll have an income to come back to when this is over.
Even I don't reach my goal, but still raise enough, I have other treatment options - they aren't likely to lead to a pain free life, but at least I'll be able to take a few weeks off for some intensive physical therapy and afford the type of pain medicine that will allow me to continue working.
I'll be eternally grateful for any anything you can do to pitch in.
