Summary:
"To Die For" is a short murder mystery comedy, following the mystery and events of the death of a world famous food critic in a local restaurant.
The project is in collaboration with CU Denver's Film and Television department.
Story written by Parker Vanden Hoek, and Bryan Buitrago.
Why this project?
Both writers used to work in the food industry, and instead of working through their issues in therapy, they wrote this script. Customer service and working a job that treats you like shit is a very relatable experience. We have all had those awful days at work, when problem after problem arrises, making it feel as if the shift will never end. This project is a way to explore these experiences in a comedic way and have a good laugh about it all.
What We Need:
We are raising funds for our series so we have a budget to make it as great as possible. With the crew and team being students, it's vital that we get as much support from the local community as possible. We currently are hoping to reach our budget goal of $10,000 and all the funds will be used for various aspects including production design, contracts, licenses, specialized gear, etc.
