Short Summary
Marshal Pictures and MAW Productions are teaming up to bring the comic book character Turra : Gun Angel to a screen near you!
Turra has been raised as a ninja assassin and is burnt out on the endless training and constant killing. She leaves Japan to become a bounty hunter in America.
After the particularly brazen extraction of a target from a night club, Turra is visited by an elder member of the Japanese Mafia who offers her a job she can't refuse.
Being Turra, however, she does refuse and she soon lands in the middle of Yakuza Civil War!

What We Need & What You Get
Without that particularly brazen extraction of the target - a network hacker employed by some very bad people - the proverbial ball of violence cannot get rolling. That opening scene contains the inciting event for the whole enchilada.
To do that opening scene right, it is gonna cost some money. Blank firing guns, squib hits, real flash grenades (well, almost real), the people to make it safe and the insurance to cover it all ain't cheap!
The good news is, Marshal Pictures owns almost all of the necessary production equipment and works with many talented people in the Mid-South who are willing to work for a greatly reduced day rate - sometimes as reduced as a grilled cheese sandwich - on a cool project like this.
Therefore, all the money donated (after incentive expenses and indiegogo's cut) will go straight to buying the fun stuff like blank-firing guns and the not-so-fun stuff like insurance. If we have any left over we'll probably buy some grilled cheese sandwiches.
If, by the gods of Veronica Mars, we get overfunded, we're going to shoot more of the movie!
