Did you ever see a vanity plate and wonder what its owner was thinking? I have. I love vanity plates. Some are plays on words, some are clever, some are inside jokes, and some are just… well, vain. I have an active imagination, and when I see vanity plates I like to think up little stories to go along with them. About a year ago, I decided to publish them on my Facebook page. A few of them are still up, so feel free to click here and check ‘em out. Now, I’ve decided to publish the collection in a book. I need your help to do it, so please take a look at the perks on the right and pitch in. I’m timing this so that you’ll have your copy in time for Christmas, so if you have a bookworm or two on your list, buy multiple copies and be done with it!
Why I’m Doing This:
Imagination is one of the best things of which the human mind is capable. I use my imagination every time I see a vanity plate, and through my very short Tales I hope to spark your imagination.
Where the Money Will Go:
The bulk of the money pays for printing and shipping. Some of it will defray one-time costs like proofing, cover artwork, a website, and an ISBN. Any excess will spur my second book, which will also be a collection of short stories.

Update 9/5/13:
A funder asked an important question, which I posed to the Indiegogo admins. The question: how do I buy more than one book? The answer: you have to buy the desired perk multiple times. If you would like more than one book, please do it the way the admins want. I know it's a little extra effort, and I thank you for making it!
