We Need A Ride!

House of Loveness provides on-going care for abandoned and orphaned children in Zimbabwe. One of our biggest needs is a car. 

We rely on public transport, taxis and hitching rides with strangers to get the children to school, activities and doctors appointments. 

And when those aren't available, we walk.

Our desire is to raise $8,000 for a new car.  Any funds over the amount will go towards the on-going care and education of the children supported by House of Loveness.

We Want Our Car To Make A Statement

Please send House of Loveness a bumper sticker from your business, school or favorite team and we will proudly display your sticker on our new car.  Imagine how cool we'll feel going to school in a car and having it covered in bumper stickers from all over the world. 

To Show Our Gratitude

We have GOODIES to send you including a POSTCARD from our holiday party, a HEART stone made by a Zimbabwean sculptor, LOVE greetings cards and GRATITUDE paintings by artist Tara Dixon (founder of The Gratitude House).

And if you come visit us in Zimbabwe, we will pick you up at the airport in our new CAR (you'll recognize it from all the bumper stickers).

House of Loveness

House of Loveness was founded in 2008 by filmmaker Betsy Blankenbaker.  HOL provides emergency and longterm care for at-risk children in Zimbabwe.  In 2010, HOL gave seed money to open a school which now provides education for 30+ children. 

In November 2013, HOL will partner with The Gratitude House (http://thegratitudehouse.org) to launch a Gratitude Wall at the school we support in Zimbabwe.
