WhatAppened will send you push-notifications containing enjoyable missions, all of which involve shooting a picture. The app will automatically gather all the photos and make an awesome compilation containing all your mission-snaps. Not bad, huh? Well, it gets even better when you team up with your mates. WhatAppened will collect all of the photos shot by you and your friends, making your aftermovie even more epic. The more friends you’ve got using WhatAppened, the better your compilation will be!

WhatAppened will  have a continuously growing set of missions due to the user-generated content. A large number of missions will be available for everyone when the app is launched. The large group of creative minds working on the app already designed numerous missions and will continue to do so when WhatAppened is ‘on air’. Missions like ‘Get serenated’ , ‘Drink like a T-rex’ and ‘take a picture with the most beautiful girl in the club’ will make sure you’ll shoot the most epic photos to be included in the compilation movie. Not adventurous enough for you? No problem, you can add your own missions to WhatAppened in the blink of an eye.

After the IndieGoGo campaign, we will start building WhatAppened. We already have a prototype ready (which you can see in the screenshots), but there is still a lot to do before the entire world can use WhatAppened to treasure their best memories.

When we receive €10.000,- in funding, we will be able to completely develop the iPhone version of the app. When we receive €20.000,- in funding, we will also be able to fully develop the Android version of the app. We realise that having both an iPhone and Android version of the app is crucial to the success of WhatAppened, as that covers nearly 80% of the smartphone market device-wise.

We will first focus on getting the iPhone version ready, take out the kinks, and then develop the Android version. We estimate to have the first iPhone version ready in February 2014, and the Android version in April 2014.

As said before, the app will be updated regularly. We will upload new mission-packs and rewards, so you can use WhatAppened every night without having to do the same mission twice (if you don’t want to, that is…) Moreover, the technology used in the app will also have regular facelifts; video-shooting will be implemented just like some other state of the art novelties. More possibilities, more missions, more achievements… You name it, and we’ll make it happen.

The team of people working on WhatAppened combines experiences from different disciplines, boasting creativity. The developers produced numerous apps for public and private use, the designers are young and creative and the marketeers combine  years of marketing experience to succesfully launch the app. All these different characters combine their forces on this app, making sure its wide target audience will never have a dull moment when using WhatAppened!

How many people will you need to start a WhatAppened group?

WhatAppened can be done alone or with a group. It does not matter how many people are in a group. You can also decide how many missions you want to receive during your night out.

Why Should I use WhatAppened?

Because you get rewarded for completing missions in two ways:

• Party experience points, so you can show your friends your party rating.
• A nice compilation of your night out that helps you fill in the missing pieces.

Yes, and its totally free. We’ll support the latest versions of Android and iOS.

What if a friend of mine has a NOKIA 3310?

We are sorry, he won’t be able to play WhatAppened. Just make a mission „ take a picture of the person with the most oldskool phone” and he’ll be there in the compilation ;).

Can you name an example of a photo mission?

• "Win the Champions League"
• "Pinch the ear of a Pinguin"
• "Take a picture of you and the most beautiful girl in the snackbar"

How does the app know when I completed a mission?

Once you’ve taken the picture, you’ve completed the mission and receive an amount of experience. If you decide to share you compilation (including the missions) on Social Media you’ll receive even more experience.

If I take 100 photo’s of my feet will I receive 100 times experience?

Yes you’ll receive experience for each photo you make in WhatAppened. Ask yourself do I want to have a compilation of 100 feet photos and do I want to remember the awesome night out by that?

Why do I want to keep using the app?

Because you get rewarded for doing so, more experience points let you climb the ladder of party lords.

Why should I play it alone?

To get you over the bump to just ask that pretty woman/men to make a picture with you, or make new friends while executing the „win the champions league mission”.

Will the compilation look like the one in the Hangover?

Yes it will, this is where the idea came from.

What if I’m drunk and my pictures are too bad to be true, why should I share them on social media?

You have to decide that on your own, you’ll only get more rewarded for doing so. We will never share any of your photos or videos if you didn’t tell us to.
