How far can we go? There's no limit. If this campaign is successful, I will expand, and make more limited edition t-shirts. From there, why can't we move on to other things, hoodies, coffee mugs, framed art prints for your homes. We can do anything with this idea? Why do I say we? Because you are as much a part of it as I am. I will be honest with you and let you know exactly why things cost what they do, where each penny of the money goes, what it means to those people and their lives. Why am I starting with a Red-winged Blackbird? It's such a common bird.

Well, for me that bird specifies the arrival of spring. People, non-birders, always talk about Robins being the signifier to spring, but for me it's Red-winged Blackbirds. Hearing their call means things are really underway. To me they are the beginning and so are very fitting to start what I hope becomes something as exciting for me as spring migration.
