World War What is a single/multiplayer First Person Shooter for the App Store and Android Marketplace that utilizes your cellphone's gyroscope to reflect real world movement in a virtual world. For the first time, you can have virtual reality without the need for other attachments, simply point and shoot.

The concept of the game is to save worlds at war from unstoppable forces that seek to destroy all life. Each planet consists of a specific number of days of war that bring increasingly difficult enemies with each day you advance. Traveling to distant planets across the galaxy will surprise you with who the enemy is, how advanced they are and even what era they're in.

In this horde FPS you will drop into each world with ultimate powers derived from your ship, the Altor. Without these powers you may be crushed by the gravity alone on each planet. Due to these restrictions you only have the ability to rotate 360 degrees, but not move forward, backward, left or right. Movement is controlled with real world or touch screen rotation. This allows for extreme precision and accuracy when playing. So whether it be casting spells, shooting arrows or launching grenades you will have complete physical control over the outcome of each projectile in an advanced physics driven environment.
Multiplayer is a king of the hill game mode in which 10 players play as enemy invaders and one player plays as the hero. Outnumbered 10 to 1 you will need to be quick, accurate and smart in order to defeat the other players. Being the enemy allows instant re-spawning and infinite lives, but lack of power. To win as the enemy you must defeat the hero before the sun sets. To win as the hero, you must survive.

With a wide range of spells, weapons and powers you have the ability to wreak havoc upon your enemies in numerous ways. All weapons have the capability to be upgraded to more powerful versions from the weapon smith based on The Altor. Companions for each world will help you in battling to save their planet. They also provide the option to replay any day you previously completed to achieve high scores and get more shards!

A while back I didn't have the money for a virtual reality system, so I looked for an alternative for a VR game to play that didn't require the additional expenses of extra attachments to my phone, computer or console. I looked and found nothing. So I decided to create a game that gives the look and feel of a VR video game without going through the hassle of spending a fortune.
This is a solo project that I started 2 years ago. It's now in the final development stages and needs the finishing touches. I, unfortunately, am not able to do everything myself so am in need of help. I'll need funds to hire a few professionals to help me with:

It doesn't have the immersive VR headset view, but the level design and dialogue definitely make up for it. One of my future goals will be implementing the game to utilize a VR headset if desired.

The only risk with backing my project is if the goal is not met then it will simply delay the time frame in which the game will be completed. No matter what happens, World War What will be available to play at some point in the near future.
Keep in mind this game is about 90% complete. I only need a hand on a few small tasks and it'll be ready for launch! Now, let's go to war with the real enemy here, funding!
