My Story (We all have one right?)
Hi, I'm Craig the Barber, but that wasn't always my name or my profession. Believe it or not, I used to be a banker! I went to college, walked away with a four year degree and thought I would live the rest of my life happily ever after crunching numbers behind a desk. Boy, was I wrong! I had a long standing love affair with all things barbering (dating back to when I started cutting my own hair as a teenager - but that's another story for another day!), and when I finally admitted how miserable I was at the bank I decided to pursue my true passion. My goal was to spark a renaissance of the barbering trade; to equip men, young and old, with the education to take care of their grooming needs properly and to give men the permission to reclaim pride in caring for their appearance.
This isn't something I do as a hobby or to pass the time, on the contrary, this is how I make my living: I have a family to support and striving to succeed after having left a comfortable career to help revive this amazing trade has become my life's work. Here's where you can help! Over the last decade, whether from my barber chair or my website, men have shared their frustrations and hangups with all things grooming, from myths to things they either love or hate. Your feedback coupled with my knowledge has culminated in the creation of my first ever shave cream; for men, by men. Your contribution will help fund this project and getting these results we created together out of the lab into your hands so that you too can benefit from ongoing grooming struggles.
