A Little About Me:

My name is Jeffrey Metzger, and I'm the owner of Your Resume Consultant, a career services business about to reach its first anniversary.  My passion is assisting job seekers in identifying and documenting their greatness and creating eye-catching, interest-generating resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles.  I also assist my clients with interview preparation and their job search.

In 2012 I wrote well over 100 resumes for clients in dozens of different industries and professions.

It's my hope that by obtaining this prestigious certification, I can take my business to a new level and provide even greater results for my clients.

Prior to starting my business, I spent nearly 25 years in Financial Services, most of which as a hiring manager in customer service.  After spending years reading resumes and interviewing candidates, I realized the value I could offer to job seekers, and Your Resume Consultant was born.
 

What I'm Hoping to Accomplish:

There are a number of resume certifications available, but one of the most respected and most difficult to obtain is the Academy Certified Resume Writer (ACRW).  The total cost of the program is approximately $3000.

For a $10 contribution, I'll send you a copy of my eBook "Your Resume Consultant's Guide to Working With Recruiters"

For a $100 contribution, I'll review your current resume and provide you with at least five actionable ideas for improvement.

For a $500 contribution, Upon completion of my certifcation, you will receive a complete resume package including resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile.

If I don't reach my goal of $3000 or if I exceed my goal, all funds received will go toward my continuing education as a resume writer, which might include an alternate certification, conference attendance, and classes and seminars.

I feel I have a solid foundation of skills and I already have a long list of happy clients.  By becoming certified, I think it will create an enviroment where my business can truly take off.
