Curtain Claws!
I’ve sold curtains for more than 15 years and worked with thousands of clients, and I’ve always felt there was something missing. Curtain Claws are the solution!
Curtain Claws provide a simple alternative to installed tiebacks. The Claws simply close around your curtain fabric for a secure hold that won’t damage the material. Fitted with specially designed interchangeable faceplates, Curtain Claws allow you to easily and inexpensively change your tiebacks regularly, to match the season, or not at all – it’s up to you.
By helping to fund this campaign, you will help me introduce to consumers an inexpensive and easy-to-use product that will make their homes more comfortable and comforting. And isn’t that something we all need?
Goals
We invested initially in developing the perfect prototype. Several product attributes were critical:
- Quality, durable material that slides smoothly around the curtain, with the ability to hold the curtain securely while at the same time protecting the fabric
- Sleek, simple, tasteful medallions and faceplates
- Versatile enough to work with most curtains, from sheer tapestries to heavy duty black out curtains
Now that the design and engineering phase of Curtain Claws is complete, and our product has patents pending, the purpose of this campaign is to raise the funds necessary to support tooling and an initial production run for this product. We will be producing Curtain Claws through our partner Arciplex, based in Nashville, Tennessee. We've been working together for more than a year and they've been very supportive of our goals.

We can do this!
The process of developing the product prototype was not as straightforward as I anticipated. I had very clear ideas about materials, quality, functionality, and design, and it took a few attempts to get the prototype to where it needed to be. I remained determined throughout this process, educating myself along the way, and I intend to use this same focus, determination, and attention to detail to bring this product to the consumers who I believe are waiting for it! As an added bonus, Arciplex, our manufacturer, adds value through their work on several successful crowd-funding campaigns.
