Sixteen and broke (and non-asshole), Moe Omer of little Ottawa, Canada, found himself struggling to fork up more than $1,000 for a phone that he, frankly, was using to do the same things he could do with any other phone. He had no use for a product without a headphone jack or magical hand-wave sensors. 

Instead of deciding between buying a ridiculously overpriced phone or saving the money for his future education, Mo chose option three: fuck the Big Guys, cut the middle man, and go straight to the manufacturers. 

Over the last year, we spent our energy and resources (so you don’t have to spend yours) to customize a phone and introduce it to the North American market with only two values in mind: high-tech and low cost. 

And thus, frank. was born.

Frank is angry.

Frank doesn’t like being ripped-off.

Frank doesn’t care about magical dragon processors or hand wave sensors, and he definitely has no use for a phone without a headphone jack.

Frank just wants to do things with a phone that he can do with any other phone.

Frank just wants an honest deal.

Fahd – Chief Troublemaker

From raising more than half a million dollars for charities, speaking at National We Day in front of 16,000 youth, to helping launch an entrepreneurship centre at Carleton University while completing his second term as the President of Carleton University Students’ Association, Fahd definitely earned the title of one of Canada's Top 20 Under 20 (2013).

Mo – Genius Boy Wonder

Mo is a Sens fan, tech geek, and (self-proclaimed) anime otaku and graphic designer. Though young, Mo’s ambition and drive earned him the 2016 Spirit of the Capital Youth Award under the category of entrepreneurship and he landed an appearance on Dragon's Den for his hockey apparel brand.

What comes inside the box?
frank. will come with (a phone, duh), headphones, a USB-C charging cable, charging brick and a silicon case.

What warranties apply to the phone?
frank. is covered under a one-year warranty that covers everything except physical damage. For added insurance, customers can purchase a one year no-questions-asked warranty for $50.

What happens when you reach your goal?
We immediately start phone production and, around 60-90 days afterwards, customers will receive their phone.

Why do I have to wait 60-90 days?
Ensuring the quality of mass phone production, unfortunately, takes time but is worthwhile. 

Can you explain the different USB types compatible with frank.?
frank. uses USB Type C, which is the future of USB types being used by all new devices. It’s reversible, small, and charges fast.

How will I charge my frank.?
Using the included USB-C cable and charging brick.

How good is the processor?

It's pretty damn good, it can run pretty much anything you throw at it without a hitch.

Yep. If 64GB isn’t enough for our customers, they can definitely expand with a microSD card.
