Before retiring I was Associate Professor in Extended Education at the University of Manitoba. My work took me to many countries and schools in impoverished slums. Never have I witnessed the affection and commitment of teachers toward their students as I have seen at Talimi Haq School. I have been teaching conversational English there for three years. Recently, I learned the school wants to begin offering desperately needed women's health education. I want to help make this happen.
