I'm an award-winning documentary filmmaker and photographer. I live in San Francisco.

I am an award-winning independent documentary filmmaker who looks close to home for stories with a universal appeal. I make these films with my iPhone, collecting and assembling video interviews, old photos and archival footage. I'm also a photographer, working at the intersection of event, documentary and street, individually but usually all together. Since the 1980s, I've worked as a freelance writer, editor and graphic designer for print and online media.
