"A Gifted Young Maverick!" Nadine Hack
<p>An acclaimed Off-Broadway writer/direcetor and 2011 NAACP Award winner, Miss. Lethridge’s dedication to educating young people has inspired her career in the Arts. She has assisted in developing several Arts Education Programs within the Los Angeles area, and has worked directly with students of various grade levels and backgrounds teaching Language Arts, Theatre, Poetry, Speech and Debate, and Creative Writing. Kenyetta has produced several stage productions in Los Angeles, including For <strong><em>Colored Girls who Have Considered Suicide</em></strong> <em>w<strong>hen the Rainbow is Enuf, and Company Policy.</strong></em> Some of her writing and directing credits include: <em><strong>Beautiful Black Boys (Documentary)</strong></em>. “<em><strong>AGAPE: 25<sup>th</sup> Anniversary”</strong></em>, and <a href="http://truthbetold2011.org/"><strong>Truth Be Told</strong>: Fundraising Event to Benefit <strong>Premiere</strong> <strong>Oncology</strong> ...</a> produced by Dottie Archibald (Punchline) and hosted by Bradley Whitford (The West Wing). the National Tour of <strong><em>Portraits of Courage</em></strong> produced by the Will and Company Theatre, The Greenway Court Theatre’s <strong><em>Butterflies of Uganda, Crumbs from the table of Joy, </em></strong>and<strong><em> The Crucible. </em></strong> </p> <p> </p> <p>2011 was Kenyetta’s big break out year. Winning an NAACP Award for her performance in “Transitions”, produced by the Robey Theatre Company. She appeared in the film “Mr. Sophistication, graced her presence in the films <strong><em>Fast Lane</em></strong>, and <strong><em>Lover</em></strong>. And She also joined the cast of the animated show <strong><em>American Dad. </em></strong>And recently <strong><em> </em></strong> assistant directed Miss.
