Justin Lui

Justin Lui studied architecture at the University of Washington before deciding to join the Peace Corps. While stationed in Kyrgyzstan between 2010 and 2012, Justin observed the impacts of the post-Soviet era on local society. He taught Kyrgyz youth and helped them apply for scholarships to further their education (he still maintains contact with many of them, even raising money for an operation to fix the cleft palate for a local girl).
