<h3>A filmmaker, photographer and citizen journalist, Elcid is passionate about the visual medium, and made his move into filmmaking from a career in frelance journalism. Elcid has always lived in London, and it is through the prism of his upbringing in a diverse and multicultural city that inspires the stories and subjects his films want to tackle, in order to break and trancende social, economic and political bounderies.</h3> <h3>In 2010, Elcid made his film debut with a short documentary titled <em>Revolutionary Roads</em> (Rahayeh Enghelab in Farsi), which went on to win the Current TV 'Short Cuts' prize for new documentary talent. Also recently, Elcid completed a unique short on the negative effects of car exhaust pollution on the environment, titled <em>Think.</em></h3>
