For years, I dreamed of belting out a song before an audience, but was too afraid to do so. All through my 20's, I would watch my friends and others on stage. It was a stilted catharsis. Inside the energy infusion of live music, I would fantasize, plan even, but still I could not overcome my self-conscious fear and hold.
