Help a young man go to college!
<p>To start, I was born in Washington, DC. I am the oldest son out of two including my younger sister. I love to illustrate, socialize with my friends, and just have fun in general. One of my personal hobbies is illustrating. It is something I have been doing since I was seven, and it’s something I continue to do. For that, I enrolled in the Visual and Performing Arts program (VPA) in my school and continued to further my skills in visual art. These past four years in high school have taught me a lot, especially the importance of friends and education. I’ve been trying my best in school, maintaining at least a 3.6 grade point average. I have been enrolled in International Baccalaureate courses since 11th grade, and it has helped to challenge me academically.</p> <p>I want to be an inspiration to my sister by graduating from college. I also want to be an inspiration to other black youth in my community, to show them that it’s possible to graduate from college and that the struggle is worth it. I look forward to the journey through college and accomplishing my goals!</p>
