Pocket 3 is the perfect combination of professional O&M functions and portability. It integrates a complete set of O&M interfaces within a 8-inch compact body that weighs only 0.7kg, allowing the engineer to carry less but still comfortably dealing with front-line tasks such as debugging, remote operation, maintenance, and real-time monitoring.

8-inch H-IPS screen featuring outdoor visibility, exclusive ICC color calibration (making the screen suitable for professional use cases) , 180-degree opening, 1920×1200 resolution, 284ppi pixel density, 16:10 ultra-wide viewing angle, 500nit brightness, DC dimming and billions of brilliant colors. The modular I/O port design allows a tiny PC like Pocket 3 to adapt well in different use cases (by swapping between different expansion modules). The serial port expansion module of Pocket 3 uses the standard EIA RS-232 communication protocol and can connect to various 9-pin serial devices.

The single KVM port control module for Pocket 3 can be used to access and control another computer for system and network device management.

It integrates HDMI IN and USB IN ports, so you only need an HDMI cable or HDMI to VGA cable to connect Pocket 3 to the targeted server and fully control the server through the Pocket 3's own keyboard and mouse.

Unlike "remote desktop", the KVM control module is used for hardware-level access control covering the entire use process of the targeted server, from booting, BIOS settings to operations within the OS.

It is hot-swappable but has no IP KVM, so it does not support remote management and is suitable for managing local network equipment that has no keyboard, mouse and display.

Our specifically designed swivel screen made with powder metallurgy technology allows for an effort-less 180 degree movement (which can be done with one hand) in a clockwise rotation around the Y axis. Pocket 3 has a light and strong all-aluminum (6061) body manufactured according to the same unibody design used by Apple devices, which has 36 level  of processing treatment, including ultra-fine CNC machining that eliminates chamfer burrs, sand polishing for achieving a glass-like smooth surface with delicate texture, distributing liquid dyes evenly into tiny cavities through capillary effect, anodizing process for forming a super protective layer, and  polishing with magnetized iron powder for creating a jade-like smooth appearance!

Our widely acclaimed chiclet chocolate style "QWERTY" keyboard, which has won the German Red Dot Award, is optimized for typing with both hands by concentrating the most important keys on the center, making it very comfortable to play keyboard and mouse-controlled games on this device!

You don't have to carry a mouse around with Pocket 3! Keeping the ergonomic design of Micro-PC, with three mouse buttons on the left and touchpad on the right, Pocket 3 is optimized for thumb control while holding the device with both hands, allowing operations efficiency exceeding traditional clam-shell form factor conveniency.

The Pocket 3 comes in two versions, high-end and low-end. The high-end version is equipped with the latest 11th generation i7-1195G7 processor, featuring 4 cores and 8 threads, with a turbo frequency of up to 5.0GHz and a maximum all-core frequency of 4.6GHz. It surpasses the performance of a desktop processor like the 8700K, allowing smooth gameplay of AAA games and running various large-scale design software. The low-end version is equipped with the Intel 11th generation Pentium Gold 7505 processor, featuring 2 cores and 4 threads, with both single and multi-core performance surpassing the Intel Core i5-1130G7. It easily handles mainstream office software and 4K Blu-ray movies, making it suitable for both work and entertainment.

Equipped with 16GB dual-channel LPDDR4x high-speed memory and a memory bandwidth of 86GB/s, the Pocket 3 allows for smooth multitasking with multiple applications running simultaneously. When using resource-intensive editing tools such as PR and AE, rendering time is significantly reduced by nearly 40% compared to the low-power 1130G7 processor of the same generation.

The memory frequency is set to a default of 3733MHz at the factory, but in reality, it is LPDDR4x 4266, which can be manually adjusted to 4266MHz through the BIOS.

Breaking through design limitations, Pocket 3 supports single and double-sided solid-state drives and the latest PCIe 4 protocol, which has a top speed (up to 7.877GB/s) 2 times that of PCIe 3. With Pocket 3, you can say goodbye to stuttering and low-speed reading and writing and have significantly improved work efficiency.

Pocket 3 comes with top of line AAC linear stereo speakers from Germany. A. Do the contributions listed for this project include tariffs incurred upon delivery to the users' home countries such as VAT?

The contributions listed in the project page include international express freight (including additional charges for delivery to remote areas) but do not cover tariffs incurred when entering the destination countries. Generally, the VAT rate for delivery of products to EU countries and Japan is 21% and 10%, respectively; in the case of the United States, tariff is required to be paid for products valued at more than $800; other countries may impose even higher tariff rates.

B. What after-sales services are available for those participating in the crowdfunding campaign?

Users participating in crowdfunding enjoy the same warranty benefits as the purchasers of officially launched products. Any user who is dissatisfied with the product can return it within one week of reception, but shipping cost for delivery of the product to the user will be deducted from the refund upon successful return.  

Please note that postage and packaging costs incurred for the return should be borne by the user. When returning the product, please use local postal courier. If you use other international logistics services, the returned product will incur a tariff equivalent to 20% to 30% of its value when entering China, for which GPD won't be held responsible.

C. What if the crowdfunding target is not reached?

Even if the target amount is not reached, we will still send the products to those who have contributed to the project. At that time, we will find other financing channels to ensure the mass production of the final product. Players who love this product are advised to pay close attention to the latest updates on the project.
