WHAT'S ASA?

Asa is a natural fiber made from a sacred hemp plant, and ancestors have long used it for Shinto rituals and celebrations in Japan.

Ordinary cotton towels are mass-produced as consumables. People often use cotton seeds with toxic chemicals such as pesticides and insecticides. Also, poisonous chemicals used the dyeing can spill over into waterways and land.

Using Asa towels can reduce the burden on the earth. Because it is not consumable, but the thing to love for a long time.

Many people are familiar with the excellent functionality of hemp plants. Still, it is challenging to commercialize them as a towel, rarely available in the market. Our 100% Asa towels are born from the culmination of 75 years of MADE-IN-JAPAN technology.

Compared to cotton, Asa fiber is more environmentally friendly and has better quality in many ways. In particular, in terms of durability, it ranks at the top among natural fibers, and people say it is as twice as more durable as cotton! The 100% Asa towels were born to make towels that will last a lifetime.

DESIGN

The thread has a unique structure. A long cavity in the center of the fiber and numerous cracks on the surface combine to bring great functionalities.

This product uses natural linen among the hemp plants, which has a soft texture and a moderate feel that becomes softer with use.

SIZE & COLORS

We have two types of towels: bath and hand towels, and three different colors! The new blue color is created especially for the campaign, so please don't hesitate to try it on your hand!

USE CASES

After a shower and wiping your hands with our 100% Asa towel, you feel refreshed! It's also great to use as a blanket. Plus, it is not bulky, so can bring it anywhere; the gym, outside, or on a trip.

*This product is fully washable.
*We recommend using a net when washing.
*Because this product is all-natural materials, the color will come out in the first couple of washes. Please wash separately from other items.
*Please do not use chlorine detergent or bleach.
*We recommend avoiding tumbler drying.

JOGAN started operations in Sennan, Osaka, Japan, in 1946, and it has continued its domestic production for more than 70 years since then and obtained many users' reputations. So, we are producing a wide variety of towels every day with the considerable care of our customers to use towels with peace of mind.

Many people know Asa is one of the best fabrics to use as a towel because of the excellent functionalities that our ancestors have proven.

However, weaving Asa into a towel is extremely difficult. JOGAN took 75 years to commercialize it by experiencing many trials and errors. This 100% Asa towel is a gift from our company's passion.
