TL/DR

My name is Andrew Mauney and I am raising $2000 to produce my new play, "Will I Be Missed" as part of New York Theater Festival's November 2024 show.

• "WIBM" is a 20 minute short play about a girl who asks the ultimate question, "Will I be missed when I'm gone?". It challenges the audience to explore perspective and encourages the audience to express their gratitude while they can... you never know who needs to hear it.
• The New York Theater Festival runs in mid August - "WIBM" has three performances: 11/14 @9p; 11/16 @12p; 11/17 @830p at Teatro Latea (107 Suffolk St., NYC)
• The $2000 will go towards actor payment, rehearsal rental space, and other miscellaneous costs associated with putting on a show in NYC.

What We Need & What You Get

Here's a more in depth breakdown of where the money is going:

• Actor payment: $1100
• Stage Manager: $300
• Festival Fee: $135
• Rehearsal Space: $300
• Equity Insurance: ~$100 (*if I cast AEA actors)
• Misc (programs, IndieGoGo fee, props, etc...): $300-500

As you can see, $2000 won't even cover my anticipated expenses... but I hate asking people for money, so I'll just cover the rest! I appreciate you all!
