How it Started

When we started to design the first svstem watch, we wanted to create a watch that could be easily personalized. We initially played around with different strap designs, but soon identified the bezel as the key component defining the character of a watch. It made us question, "What if we could effortlessly change the bezel of a watch and dress it up according to mood or preference?"

It was from there that we started designing a mechanism for interchangeable bezels on a single watch base. We went with a 42mm diameter watch case as it best accommodated the bezel thickness we needed to accentuate the unique characteristics of each bezel.

What does svstem mean?

Our name, svstem, is an adapted spelling of the word 'system', adapted to contain the acronym of our core brand attribute - seamless versatility, while also retaining the connotation of the word 'system' - a set of things working together as parts of a mechanism or an interconnecting network. 

svstem speaks of functional utility over contrived exclusivity. With svstem watches, we seek to produce products that work flawlessly in the background, independent of any extra fanfare.

An Understated Confidence

svstem represents an understated confidence, one that is refined enough to have little need for superfluous self-exaltation.

It represents the modern individual whose life is in constant transition towards their goals and aspirations, reflected by an identity that transcends beyond material status.

For them, there is no need for a superficial status. For them, there is svstem.

Risks & Challenges

With both of us being professional industrial designers, we fully understand that manufacturing and bringing a product to market is a time intensive and complicated process. As such, we have prepared all the necessary production steps ahead of time to minimize as much risk as we can.

We have also been working very closely with our watch manufacturer over the past 8 months in order to establish the right quality of product and forge and reliable partnership with all the suppliers involved.

The manufacturing and fulfillment process is good to go, only waiting for funding to make it happen. As we move through the production timeline, we will be keeping you up to date with regular updates and pictures.

We are fully committed into moving according to schedule. However, we are also insistent that there should be no compromise on the quality of the product. Therefore, delays might be inevitable if the product quality is not at the standard we demand.

You will be kept informed about the status of our every step towards the final shipment, and will be updated in a timely manner should we encounter any unforeseen setback. We strive towards creating great products that excite you, and thank you for your support to get this campaign up and running!
