NEWS FLASH!
Hi! We are Makelight Productions, an independent film production team, based in the UK and Germany. Off the back of our successful shorts we are now producing the family adventure feature, 2:Hrs.
We are thrilled to announce that we have finished shooting 2:Hrs. The money we raised through this Indiegogo campaign went into making an awesome day of shooting at the Natural History Museum.
Although we met our target, we are still looking for completion funding to finish the edit and to complete the sound and music, the grade and the vfx. Our campaign is InDemand so you can still contribute if you'd like to join us!

We thought you might like to see a few stills from the film:

2:HRS is about Tim, a budding graffiti artist, who at 15 is not only selfish but an expert at messing up. So what happens when Tim discovers he has only two hours to live?
While on a school trip to London's iconic British Natural History Museum, Tim finds out news that will change the course of his life forever. Tim and his best mates discover the Vitalitron, a mysterious steampunk machine that can, according to its inventor, predict the day of anyone’s demise. Tim steps in and finds that his time is just two hours away.

Is it true? Whether it is or whether it’s not, the terrified trio set off to fulfill a bucket list that takes them free running across London.

Meanwhile, the Vitalitron’s inventor pursues them, trying to safeguard her invention and the fame she is sure it will bring her. When the journalists that have come to cover the machine’s unveiling get wind of Tim’s dilemma, they too give chase.

Can the kids avoid the tabloid journalists desperate for a story and the evil scientist determined to protect her legacy? And what happens when Tim’s two hours are up…?

We have shot this scene and all because of
2:HRS is part of an exciting new wave of independent British films that are low-budget but high-quality. We know that you don’t need millions to make a great family adventure film. But there is one scene in the film where we need to pull out all the stops, and that’s what we hope this Indiegogo will accomplish.
The scene in the Natural History Museum that sets it all in motion is absolutely crucial to the story, and without it, 2:HRS won’t match our writer’s thrilling vision.
We need a lot of money to film inside the Natural History Museum and to build the Vitalitron, the machine that sparks off Tim’s race toward doom. We think it needs to look a bit better than the one that Diana and Andromeda made the other day.
We need £15k to secure a location agreement at the Natural History Museum, hire and feed our cast and crew and dress the scene. We also can’t wait to hire a production designer to create some weird and wonderful designs for the Vitalitron and turn it into a real piece of set in all its steampunk glory.
Do YOU want to be part of this incredible scene? Then have a look at our great perks and choose one that you like the best! What are you waiting for?
