So here we are...

Stephen Colletti and James Lafferty. Friends, colleagues and now collaborators. Some of you may know us from our time on "One Tree Hill", some of you may know us personally, and many of you probably don't know us at all. Regardless, we're here to introduce you to a project near and dear to our hearts.
"Everyone is Doing Great" is an episodic comedy project we’ve lived and breathed for the last year of our lives. It’s a story formed partly from circumstances we’re familiar with, but primarily a fiction following friends dealing with life’s unexpected challenges.
If you think it’s worth your contribution, small or large, you’ll be satisfying the budget for 5 more 30-40 minute episodes of “Everyone is Doing Great.” That’ll make our first season 6 total episodes. The first season scripts are all written and we’re ready to pounce into production as soon as we have the funds. Over the next 45 days, you have the ability to bring this pilot several steps closer to becoming a full season of comedy television.
What's in it for you?
Now for the fun part. We’ve put a lot of thought into what we can offer our backers a.k.a., our Heroes. We think many of the campaigns that forged a path before us had some great ideas, so you’ll see a few familiar incentives. We also sprinkled in a few things we think are fun and original, but we’ll let you be the judge of that.
We’re grateful for every cent put forward and are looking forward to expressing that gratitude through these incentives and more!

Shooting the pilot episode of 'Everyone is Doing Great'. Stephen Colletti (Writer/Actor) touching the monitor after Johnny Derango (D.P./E.P.) told him to keep his greasy-ass fingers off it -- for the millionth time. Ian and Eshom Nelms (E.P.s) look on in bewilderment.
Why are we crowdfunding?
In an ever-changing landscape of Film and TV, more and more people are taking matters into their own hands and seeing incredible results. We're constantly inspired by filmmakers who fiercely protect their creative integrity. Crowdfunding our budget allows us to do exactly that. We want to remind creatives and audiences alike that there's always interest — and room — for great content. Here you will not only support “Everyone is Doing Great,” you will also be showing your belief in independent television.
We’re grateful to take this route because it gives us more creative freedom and the ability to take you on the journey with us — every step of the way. Our incentives will provide you with updates and opportunities to put your own stamp on the series!
Where does the money go?
We have a small, but incredibly talented and proficient team of independent filmmakers — a team that’s worked together on multiple projects over the years — actors, producers, cinematographers, sound mixers and set designers who have spent a decade carving out an efficient and effective system to create peak production value on a modest budget.
If you care to see for yourself, check out LOST ON PURPOSE on iTunes; WAFFLE STREET on Netflix; or perhaps SMALL TOWN CRIME, also on Netflix now, which just enjoyed a theatrical run. All of them are brought to you by our creative team, including Writer/Producer/Director duo Ian and Eshom Nelms, Cinematographer/Producer Johnny Derango and Actress/Producer Michelle Lang — all of whom serve as Executive Producers on “EDG.” Any one of these projects should assure you that the season of “EDG" we create will be completely consistent in quality. You can count on that.
Since we already completed the pilot on our own, these funds will pay for the production of 5 additional episodes to make a total of one complete 6 episode season. Our efforts to help minimize production costs will include using several locations we personally own, shooting all episodes on one schedule to save time, and taking nominal pay rates relative to industry standards.

Johnny Derango and Eshom Nelms wonder how they got here as James Lafferty (Actor/Director) encourages them to violate safety regulations by illegally crossing the street. Again.
But no matter how cost-effective we are, there will be expenses. Our shoot will last around two months and with a cast and crew of around 15-25 people, it will take significant funds to compensate these warriors fairly. There will also be insurance to buy, food for the crew, cameras to rent, lenses to rent, lights to rent, music licensing and all post-production costs (editing, sound mixing, color grading) amongst a truckload of other line items. Oh and that reminds us, we'll need to rent a truck as well.
All things considered, the number we’ve set for this campaign allows us to make a season of "Everyone is Doing Great" for the very least amount of money possible. Down to the last woman and man, we are a filmmaking team dedicated to the passion and love for storytelling first.
