Short Summary

Hello, I'm Maryna and I'm a musician from Ukraine currently studying in Berlin, and I'm determined to make a mark in the music world. For the past two years, I’ve been releasing my songs, and now it’s time to start to let other people discover it. That's why I want to shoot a music video to tell my story and bring my music to a larger audience.

What We Need & What You Get

With €500, I’ll be able to cover not only the equipment costs I need, but also pay for the work of the people involved in my project. I need €300 to rent a music room where the shoot will take place and for catering for the team. If I raise more funds, the extra will go towards the salaries of my team, which consists of 12 people.

The Impact

The music video for my song '27' tells the story of a girl’s unspoken feelings for her friend. She doesn't fully understand what's happening, and the video will capture this emotional confusion. The overall concept will combine shots of the band playing their instruments with the main storyline. I think, although the queerness doesn't get ashamed as it was earlier, there're still many themes that have to be discussed and there're statements to make. I already have a small base in Berlin and a 1000 monthly listeners on Spotify, so I expect some success from this music video.
