A Dream Calls is a concept album that journeys through the musical styles of the mid-20th century, beginning in the late 1960s and ending in the early 1980s. This instrumental album is a symphonic adventure through time, spanning the genres of jazz, bossa nova, disco, synthpop, and much more.
The album was recorded using real instruments and techniques reflecting the periods and styles that are depicted. This includes multiple tracks with a full orchestra and an instrument/player from every continent (minus Antarctica).
It also served as the soundtrack to Defunctland's experimental documentary Journey to EPCOT Center: A Symphonic History. The music was composed by Jamie H. Wall and Kevin Perjurer. The standard edition of the album can be heard at https://defunctland.bandcamp.com/album/a-dream-calls
This vinyl pressing is the deluxe edition of A Dream Calls. It will feature one cut song and additional songs included in the documentary but not included on streaming. The final runtime is over an hour of music.
Design
The designs shown in the above images are mock-ups and are subject to change. The album cover will be very similar if not identical to what is depicted, but the center labels are still in the early design stages.
Vinyl Specs and Quality
At this point in the campaign, we are still researching the best manufacturer to partner with if we were to reach our goal. Here is what we know for sure about our vinyl:

- Custom Sleeves or Insert
With over one hour of music to press, we will need to split the album across two vinyls to ensure the best sound quality. We are unsure whether the vinyl will be a single sleeve or gatefold at this time.
Timeline
We are currently exploring manufacturers with fast turnaround times, but even these pressers can only deliver in four to five months. We will keep all backers updated on the progress of the manufacturing process if the goal is met, but we will not begin manufacturing until after the campaign ends.

Defunctland is a documentary YouTube channel that studies pop culture and corporate history, specifically those related to themed entertainment. The series was created by Kevin Perjurer. Defunctland has successfully completed two-prior Indiegogo campaigns with all perks delivered.
