'A Dream' is a 32 page, fully coloured stand alone comic about young Victoria who must journey across a fantasy land, filled with wonder and adversity, in aid of a new found friend.
'A Dream' is the meeting of my love for comics and literature. I often times find that many great scribes have already said what I wanted to, and in a much more eloquent way, which inspired me to create a series of poetic comics. However, while 'A Dream' is wholly narrated by a poem from a rather famous writer, what you see will be my own little interpretation of the poem, my story, embedded within the artwork and symbolism which I storyboarded into each panel.

Hi guys, my name is
David Goei, an aspiring comic book writer. In Melbourne, Australia, I was first introduced to the world of independent comics where my mentor noted my storytelling ability by accident.
‘A Dream’ will be my first self-published comic and it has been a 2 year long labour of love and research. Thus far, early test readers have enjoyed both the story and the art, with a few surprisingly pleasant comments too!
I am currently working on several other scripts at the moment so if you wish to keep in touch with all I do, feel free to follow me!
