There’s sure to be something for everyone in this diverse evening of entertainment. A Flight of Opera includes excerpts from beloved favorites like Carmen, The Magic Flute, and Cenerentola – along with the dramatic death of the famed lovers, Romeo and Juliette, and achingly beautiful music from Dvořák's fairytale opera, Rusalka ...and other favorite composers, including Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, Purcell, Rossini, Strauss, and Verdi.
Perhaps you remember our debut production of The Magic Flute on the lawn of Lady Hill Winery in the fall of 2020, or our Hansel & Gretel in 2021 (at Lady Hill, Utopia Vineyard, and also Old Moody Stages in Portland).
Our previous productions were possible thanks to you, our loyal audience and generous supporters! And we're so incredibly grateful. We're counting on you to help us meet our funding goal by May 15th. Contribute today and to reserve a seat at a special early-backer price. Children are welcome, too!

Your support makes this real!
We're reaching out to you to help cover the essential costs, share our campaign with your music-loving friends – and most especially we hope you'll come see & hear our performances!
FUNDING GOAL
We'd like to fund our essential costs in the next two weeks, before opening tickets to the general public. We have already received offline pledges totaling $1000 (THANK YOU!)*
This campaign reflects the remaining $1,750 we need to ensure that we can complete this project. Your contributions fund our minimum productions costs for a pianist, costumes pieces, program printing, stage manager... and possible venue rental. Anything left over goes to the singers for the many, many hours they have already devoted to this project. :)
* We are seeking a few more 'Producer's Circle' backers at $500+ (tax deductible). This level of support provides stability for both this and future projects. If you'd like to learn more about this option, please email Angelica for a conversation.
With a song in our hearts, we thank you for your support!
Our story
Lark Opera was born out of the ashes of the pandemic, and is almost entirely self-funded. We depend on your generosity and ticket purchases to make this art possible. More than 90% of our budget goes directly to the artists.
WHO WE ARE

We are music teachers, music directors, composers, choristers with both Portland and Eugene Opera, performing artists with Opera on Tap PDX, Classical Revolution PDX, Ping & Woof, Mendelssohn's famous "operaoke" nights, and more.
