Filming for "A Light in the Shadows" is now complete, and we are seeking finishing funds as we move into the critical post-production phase. We are asking for your help to be able to complete this meaningful, timely, and potentially life changing film in the manner that the story deserves. If our financial goal is achieved, the movie will be finished by summer 2014.

This film follows the trials and triumphs of four patients with the terminal illness known as Wolfram syndrome, and the heroic efforts of the doctors racing the clock to find a cure with potentially life-changing implications for millions of men and women the world over.

Gone are the days of accepting bad news and surrendering to tragedy.  The era we share, especially when it comes to science and medicine, is beautiful and often quite simply miraculous.

-Editing.  Our editors will be pouring through the 14+ terabytes of raw footage that has been collected over the last two and a half years and shaping it into a single, powerful film.  This is a time-intensive and hugely important process that requires precision, skill and an artful eye.

-Sound design and color correction.  Over the course of hundreds of days and dozens of locations, this film was created using a wide array of cameras and recording equipment.  In order for the story to flow properly with audio and visual transcendence, time and attention must be put into these areas.

-Soundtrack.  Our music department will be hard at work securing rights and creating sequences that will allow the film to be scored effectively and evocatively.

-Packaging, Printing, and Festival Fees.  Once the movie is completed, it will be packaged and submitted to film festivals all over the world.  Festival application fees tend to fall between $30 and $80, and we will submit to as many as our budget allows.
