Short Summary
I have worked in Emergency Medicine as a EMT for over 20 years. On November 8th I suffered a crippling back injury, on the path to recovery I refused to take opiods for pain relief! I expressed my concerns to my Doctors, and one Doctor asked if I have ever tried Kratom "Mitragyna speciosa"? I had never heard of this until that point. I took Kratom and was amazed how well it worked without the side effects of opiods! Kratom is very controversial, the one way to fix that is research!
What We Need & What You Get
I have been working on this film for a couple of months, and due to finances I have hit a stand still!
Hence the reason for my campaign. I still have another couple months of following along side researches while they study "Mitragyna speciosa". In my opinion this has the power to be called a Miracle Leaf! I will need funds to help keep research going, travel, and equipment. I have set the goal very modest. To include my years in the medical field I have also worked in film for 15 years, so I see the ability I have and did it!
If your concern is if you fund and it doesn't hit the goal, then please no worries I will complete the film, however if I hit my goal it will entitle me to better research, and film!

The Impact
I have worked in Emergency Medicine for so many years, and have seen lives torn apart from addiction! Children loosing parents, parents loosing children, and so much more. Overdoses contribute to about 60% of our calls daily in my area. This leaf has helped so many with there addiction and truly come off and stay clean! Yes there are other methods to treat addiction but this valuable one has not had the research it deserves!
Any amount you donate WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE! I for so many years I have felt like I was fighting a truly loosing battle, and now for once I see a solution to it!
