Short Summary
Edison Creative has been around since 2005 and has produced 5 short films to date, three of which have received awards including Best Short Film at the Omaha Film Festival.
With your help, we are so excited to get our sixth film off the ground! Our team for this project consists of Shawn Gourley (Director), Luke Bolin (Co-Director/Executive Producer), Joel Miranda (Writer) Chad Dodd (Line Producer), Kristin Zahra (Cinematographer), Jacob Willis (Gaffer), William Abrego (Boom Op & Sound Mixer) and Jimm Wagner (3D Visual Effects).
In 2020, during the height of Covid19, Joel wrote a one-page short story about finding the hope in the face of a fragile and uncertain future. Shawn read it and immediately saw the story come to life in his head and asked Joel if he could make it into a short film. Joel was just as excited to see it come to life on screen. Fast forward to now and we are looking to make this vision a reality!
We are doing this campaign to raise funds for actors, an anamorphic lens rental and hopefully have enough after that to pay our crew.
Once we complete this film, we will enter it into a few festivals and will hopefully use it as a proof of concept for a feature and possibly even a TV series.

We love our clients! We also love our passion projects! They have become such an integral part of Edison Creative and have helped us scratch that creative itch of making something that we can call our own.
