We help horses like baby Zoey.
Zoey was an unweaned foal left at the kill pen without her mama. Scared, wet and hungry.. She would have soon made her way to slaughter....but we intervened and bought her for 75 dollars. We then brought her home. Volunteers bottle fed her every two hours and gave her pain medication for her severe rain rot infection. Zoey was infested with worms as well. It took months of rehab and love to make her well. We paired Zoey up with a surrogate mama who took her in and gave her comfort. Little Zoey is now in a safe adoptive home. She will be two years old this spring.
We have the opportunity to purchase an additional five acres with a seven stall barn, hay loft and pastures. This gives us the ability to have proper quarantine and medical treatment facilities, additional hay storage and shelter for horses in need. Sadly we must turn horses down when our existing farm is full and we lack a quarantine /medical facility. We are very responsible and currently have no debt. We manage our facility with ALL volunteer staff and have no paid positions. Please help us to keep helping horses in need
