A NEW PERK HAS BEEN ADDED!

Land an IMDb-credited "walk-on" role in the upcoming feature KILL ME ONCE, starring Andrew Bongiorno and Rachel Alig. Production on this supernatural thriller is scheduled for September, 2015, in San Diego . Only four (4) are available and you must be at least 18 years of age. For more information, check out the official KILL ME ONCE Facebook page.

What is ABERRANT about?

At the onset of a rapidly-moving global pandemic in which dead people are returning as flesh-eating abominations that can infect the living with a single bite, Brad and Leslie take shelter in a semi-isolated house believed to be uninhabited. But their safe haven turns into a death trap when they encounter Nicoleta—a renegade female vampire that has also taken refuge in the house.

What could possibly go wrong there?

ABERRANT TEASER

What do you plan on doing with it once it's completed?

As is the case with most horror shorts, it will be submitted to genre specific festivals all over the World.

What’s the money for?

Wanting to produce this film at the highest quality possible, we plan on shooting at 4k with a Red Scarlet. With a small cast, only two locations, and a relatively small crew, we're confident that we can produce a first rate film with the amount we're seeking. Your generous contributions will allow us to cover all production expenses, including cast & crew, equipment rental, insurance, location fees and permits, hair & make-up/SFX, catering, and post-production expenses, which include editing, original music score, color grading, VFX, and sound design.

What happens if we don't reach our goal?

We opted for a "flexible funding" campaign, which means that we'll receive all funds pledged (minus IndieGoGo & Paypal fees). Rest assured that one way or another, this film will be produced and all contributors will receive their perks as promised.

What happens if we raise more than our goal?

The amount we are seeking is the bare minimum we need to shoot the film. Any surplus funds will go toward the hiring of additional crew members and/or possibly adding one more day to our shooting schedule.

When will I receive my rewards?

IMDb credits will be almost immediate. Others will be fulfilled once the film is completed and we're ready to submit to festivals. (Please note that DVD copies of "Aberrant" & "Ghostline" won't be shipped until we've completed our festival run).

Can I do anything else to help?

Absolutely!  You can spread the word by emailing this page link to friends and family and by posting it on Facebook and Twitter. Our goal is to create a buzz.

Who's in the cast?

DANIELLE LOZEAU

We feel very fortunate to have landed Danielle for the lead female role of 'Leslie'. Danielle's career has blossomed significantly over the past four years in both TV and film, including roles in the FOX hit TV series "Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles" and the Blockbuster hit "Legion". Since 2013, she's either starred or appeared in seven feature films, including "The Black Water Vampire" and "Werewolf Rising" (both featuring horror icon Bill Oberst, Jr.). Upcoming projects included "Broken Memories" with Ivan Sergei ("Fatal Instinct"), and "Twinge" with Kane Hodder ("Hatchet").

MIKE BRAYDEN

For the lead male role of 'Brad', we selected MIKE BRAYDEN, a San Diego actor who's been quietly making a name for himself over the past two years. He is best known for "A Good Ol' Chap", for which he won a 'Best Actor' award for his portrayal of a Charlie Chaplin-type character. He also played the role of the demon in "Soul Insurance", an official selection of the Oceanside International Film Festival and the Atlanta Horror Film Festival. Mike is set to make his feature film debut as 'Ray Niles' in Dean Whitney's upcoming feature, "Kill Me Once".

NADIA LANFRANCONI

Nadia was born and raised in Lake Como, Italy. After living in Milan for a couple of years, she moved to LA at the beginning of 2007 to record an album as a singer/songwriter. Since then, she's been working regularly in the entertainment industry as a model/host/actress and musician. Her most recent films are "The Snow Queen" and "Blue Dream" (James Duvall & Dominique Swain). Upcoming feature films include "Unbelieveable!!!!!" (Dina Meyer, Olivia d'Abo, Michael Madsen, & Julie Warner), "The Road Home" (Lily Tomlin & Kelly Overton), and "Mesopotania" (Bill Oberst, Jr., Angela Kerecz, & Devanny Pinn).

MARK ANTHONY COX

Mark Anthony Cox is a veteran actor who spent the 90’s rubbing shoulders with some of Hollywood’s finest and has several film and episodic TV credits. Born in Mexico City and raised in San Diego, he started his career by booking his first ever audition in 1993—a national commercial with Sally Struthers. He’s been represented by the Shamon Frietas Talent Agency ever since. Following a brief hiatus during which he and his high school sweetheart and wife, Tami, raised their three children, Mark re-entered the local film community with a big splash. Since August 2014 he's appeared in over 15 short films, webisodes, PSAs & commercials, and has been cast in three upcoming feature films and several more shorts that are scheduled for production in the Spring and Summer of 2015.

About the Producer

He subsequently returned to Chicago honing his improvisation skills at The Second City Training Center upon graduation. In 1980 Mark moved to San Diego, California, where he began his acting career in 1985 appearing in the CBS mini-series “SPACE”. He gained his Master's Degree at USC shortly thereafter while continuing to build his acting skills. Mark most recently appeared in the feature films "Ghostline", "Carving a Life", and "Blacklisted". He is scheduled to appear in the feature films "Kill Me Once", “Perpetual Nexus", and the television sitcom "KOH" this coming year. About the Director

Producer/Director/Screenwriter Dean Whitney has been a busy man over the past few years and he doesn't plan on slowing down anytime soon. Following his successful directorial debut with the award-winning short film "The Body Bag" in 2012, he wrote, produced, and directed his first feature film, "Ghostline", in 2014. Although "Ghostline" won't officially be released until later this year, it has already won key awards from the FANtastic Horror Film FF (Best of the Fest), the California Film Awards (Silver Award), and the Florida Horror FF (Best Visual FX Feature). His next feature, "Kill Me Once", goes into production this summer.

Risks & Challenges

Our only real challenge is to make a high quality film that everyone involved will be proud of.  But we are more than up for the task. The only risk we face is that since the entire story takes place at remote locations at night, there's always a chance of us running into some REAL zombies or vampires (wink wink).
