WHO IS ALICE?
ALICE WANTS A DATE is an original 7-episode Youtube comedy web series by The Clorset.
It follows 20-something-year old Alice, who is determined to find a date online. She decides to create 7 dating video profiles to attract 7 types of men: Bookworm, food lover, health freak, animal lover, music lover, art lover and film buff.
Will she succeed in getting a date?
WHY ALICE?
Our web series offers a satirical perspective to feminine ideals. For example, some of our female friends have their quirks when it comes to finding Mr Right. These idiosyncrasies are likely to be influenced by the mainstream media, including film, music and books.
The web series also provides us with a chance to laugh at ourselves, women. Who says women do not have a sense of humor? :)
HOW TO HELP ALICE?
ALICE WANTS A DATE is already in the making. We are fortunate to have been joined by talented individuals who share our comedic vision. We have completed the filming and are now working towards a rough cut.
Your contribution will go towards (in order of priority):
- Operational costs: equipment rental, transportation, and crew subsistence
- Facilities and location clearances
- Music clearances
As the campaign progresses, we will be unlocking NEW, cool perks! These include film scripts, posters and a dating book specially created by Alice.
If we do raise extra sum (fingers crossed!), they will be used for our next comedy production, which may be a short film or web series.
