Hi there! I'm Bri Stokes—a writer, poet, producer and curator born, raised and based in Los Angeles, CA. I'm also the editor of Amorphaville, a forthcoming literary anthology that I am ecstatic and honored to be able to tell you about.
Amorphaville:
Is a vibrant, wide-ranging poetry and flash fiction collection set to be published by Hinchas Press.
Features speculative works from more than 20 writers of color from around the world.
Examines the fluidity of Time, how Time has historically been controlled by oppressive systems, and what can be done to change that.
The curated pieces are electric, affecting, and dynamic. In Amorphaville, loved ones who have passed on return to share tender moments with those living in the present. Young Black girls take (literal) flight in a sparkling, not-too-distant future. Musings on endings, ancestors, culture, and trans identity abound.
We're immensely proud of our authors, and we can't wait for YOU to read their work!
With this campaign, we're aiming to raise $2600. Your contributions will:

No worries! Here's some other ways you can help:
