Short Summary
"An actor...is an actor...is an actor" was written and performed for the first time by Zijah Sokolovic back in 1978 and has since then been performed by him for over 30 years and in over 20 different countries. It is considered one of the most successful one man shows in Europe and it has been translated to several languages. Performed for the first time in New York in 1991 this one man show returns again for a short run in one of the greatest cities on Earth.
The show focuses on the part of the "actor" in today's show business and the struggles one has to overcome in order to be successful. It is divided into two parts in which the actor interacts with the audience, reflects on his past and present experiences and tries to find meaning in the art of acting.
Performed and directed by Almir Kurtic the play is in it's final stages and almost ready to be shown to the public. Since it's an independent production we are in need for additional funding which would cover venue costs and marketing materials.

What We Need & What You Get
As mentioned above, we're trying to raise $1300 in order to cover the rehearsal space costs and the cost of the venue where the show is going to be performed. Also a lot of the funds would go into covering marketing material costs.
The Impact
Now, the show is happening regardless of the funds raised, even if it means that it'll be performed on the street, it will happen! Your contribution would mean that the audience would have a seat to sit on and that the actor would have lights to shine on him. Last but not least, the amount of funds raised would determine the price of admission which could potentially be free. Theatre should be accessible to everyone!
