Short Summary
Ash is a young British Indian man living in Cardiff as an upcoming photographer. He is on his way to a town in the Valleys for a Job Interview, which he feels will give him a new perspective on taking photographs as there is a difference between city life and country life. On his way, he encounters multiple racial microaggression incidents that make him question if he even wants to work there.
After an early incident with a man, he finds himself bumping into the same person again. This time he doesn't expect what is to happen next.
The Budget -
- For this film, we are looking to generate around £500. This will go towards actor fees, Transportation, costume design and catering.
- It would be a great deal of help if we were able to fund the whole amount for the project as we won't be limited to what we do.
The Impact
- This project is very close to home for me. It's a story about representation and race. It deals and speaks out on a lot of days to day issues that happen. It's more than just a final project but also a stepping stone into showing more Welsh Indian people on TV and Movies in South Wales and how they're depicted.
