“And…Cut!” is a campy horror short that tells the thrilling story of Christie, an emerging actress on her first professional film. What seems to be a typical, chaotic film set quickly turns sour when Christie is hunted by her Director, who has taken his passion for authentic filmmaking to the extreme.
Like most horror films, "And...Cut!" is heavily dependent on the characters to truly bring them to life. So here's an overview of each of the three main characters in our story.
Now, if you're wondering who is going to bring this entire story to life, we'd like to introduce you to our (much nicer) Director, Stephanie Carrillo:
Unlike the Director in our story – it is my strong belief that the best work comes from a deep understanding of collaboration and those you’re collaborating with. In directing “And… Cut!,” I want to not only utilize my love and knowledge of the horror genre, but the experience and unique perspective of my passionate collaborators.
Uniting our experiences enriches storytelling and deepens the connection between a film and its audience. Through Christie’s story, I want to convey the shared experience of many women in the film industry – or to just give you a good scare.
In total, we are raising $3,000, and while that might sound like a lot, we want to make this film as good as it can possibly be! Here's a breakdown of how the budget will be spent:
Because this film will take a village to make, we want to make sure we give back to anyone who chooses to support us. Here's an overview of what perks your donation can earn you:
Thank you so much for going so far as to read how you can help our project! We completely understand that not everyone is in the financial position to donate, so here are other ways you can help!
Thanks for surviving this Indiegogo page, hopefully Christie is as lucky...
