Mountain Filled 2 Projects Mountain Filled 2 Projects

Hi! Welcome to the brand new project from the creators of The Book The Ultimate Guide to Rebuilding a Civilization.

Sometimes, people didn't invent things just to stay alive. Sometimes, life wasn't all about worrying where to find food or a place to sleep. Back then, our minds were free to think about bigger things. Instead of looking down, we looked up at the stars. We made up stories and myths, creating characters that later became part of movies and video games. We enjoyed simple things like sunsets and dancing in the rain. We climbed mountains, ran fast, and tried different activities that made us who we are.

Imagine if there are intelligent beings in the Universe. Wouldn't you want to know what makes humanity special? What did people on Earth think about, dream about, and believe in? To reflect these questions, we decided to make a new book "The Anthem to Humankind." This book will gather all the important cultural artifacts that make us who we are.

Making an encyclopedia with everyone's opinions is impossible. So, in our new book, an author will tell the story from their point of view.

This is the story of Noah Kaplan, the last surviving earthling, who miraculously escaped the explosion of our planet. We find him flying in an alien ship into the unknown. To keep himself sane and handle loneliness and sadness he decides to write the entire world and all the human highlights he can remember into a hybrid of diary and encyclopedia.

And despite the fact that he's absolutely the last surviving earthling, his story isn’t all tragedy. Plenty of nostalgia, sure, but even out in intergalactic darkness, there are glimmers of hope…but we can’t give too much away, now, can we?

This is a rare opportunity to experience nostalgia not for the past, but for the present moment. To think about what we truly value, what we can be proud of on a cosmic scale, and what we should be grateful for before it’s gone.

Here some of the sections you’ll be find in the Anthem to Humankind

Over millions of years, countless genetic changes and mutations have given rise to the astonishing variety of living organisms, including humans. Nature, the grand creator, has orchestrated this grand symphony of evolution, crafting a myriad of species through a multitude of combinations. Noah, in this section, pays homage to nature's artistic prowess, exploring the organisms that have endured and perished in the annals of evolution. Each living being becomes a multifaceted masterpiece, illustrating the profound artistry of the greatest creator.

Throughout the ages, civilizations have risen and fallen, leaving behind legacies that shaped the destiny of future generations. The story of civilizations is one of creativity, resilience, and transformation: from the dawn of agriculture to the grandeur of ancient empires, humanity has forged societies that reflect its collective aspirations and ingenuity. Noah, in this section, explores the extraordinary history of civilizations, reflecting on their profound influence on culture, knowledge, and the development of our interconnected world.

Social rituals have been a cornerstone of human life throughout history, defining the ways we connect, communicate, and coexist. From ancient ceremonies to modern traditions, these practices have reflected the values, beliefs, and identities of societies across time. In this chapter, Noah reflects on our most important rituals and their role in building community, safeguarding cultural heritage, and offering stability in times of change. He celebrates the rich tapestry of traditions that shape humanity, emphasizing how these shared practices bring us together and deepen our understanding of each other.

The need for routine is deeply ingrained in the human spirit, much like the ancient drive to explore. Why do we repeat certain actions day after day? Noah thinks it is a quest for balance, efficiency, and purpose. Daily routines allow us to navigate the complexities of life while also finding comfort in familiarity. From preparing a morning cup of coffee to closing the day with a meaningless TV show, Noah explores the meaning behind our everyday habits, shedding light on how they help us create order amidst chaos.

Exploration has been ingrained in humanity since ancient times. Throughout history, people have been driven to expand their living spaces, venturing into unexplored lands and oceans. But what motivates us to persistently look further, beyond familiar horizons? According to Noah, it might be a profound desire for knowledge and an unquenchable thirst for new discoveries and understanding of the world that surrounds us. In the book, he elaborates on how humans have sought answers to questions related to conquering the oceans, flying in the air, and venturing into space.

Exploration is deeply connected to the evolution of architecture. Throughout history, as humans ventured into new territories, they brought with them the need to design and construct shelters, cities, and monuments. From the mysterious allure of ancient pyramids to the futuristic marvel of buildings like the Burj Khalifa, architecture has captured imaginations and reflected the human spirit. Here Noah explores how architectural achievements become symbols of their time and continue to influence the way we envision the world.

Embark on a magical odyssey through time and culture, where the harmonies of Bach and Handel fill hearts with Baroque majesty. Mozart and Beethoven's classical symphonies enchant with grace, while the romantic compositions of Chopin and Tchaikovsky plunge us into a sea of emotions, unveiling the myriad facets of the human soul. From the jazz of Armstrong and Fitzgerald to the rebellious spirit of rock 'n' roll, Noah explores the musical works that shaped humanity across epochs.

Literature's influence stretches far beyond mere storytelling, offering a gateway to different times, cultures, and perspectives, enriching our lives with narratives we may never encounter otherwise. Whether through a well-loved novel, a thought-provoking poem, or a gripping memoir, literature is our constant companion that evokes our thoughts, emotions, and understanding of the human experience. And you know what? As Noah's personal book, with himself as the sole editor (in the whole Universe), he goes beyond merely exploring genres and shares his favorite works, trying to preserve what mattered to him the most.

The influence of films extended far beyond simple entertainment, shaping our dreams, fears, hopes, and desires. Films offered a diverse range of emotions, from laughter to tears, delight to fear. They provided a unique lens through which we can view the world, transporting us to different eras, places, and adventures that may be otherwise inaccessible in real life. Noah pays tribute to cinematic epics like "The Godfather," "Star Wars," and "The Matrix," which became symbols of their time and influenced millions of people.

Art is a kaleidoscope of forms—paintings, sculptures, photography, and more—that reflects our human spirit, dreams, emotions, and aspirations. Art is not just a visual medium; it is a dialogue that challenges, inspires, and connects us. Whether through ancient cave art, the vibrant colors of an impressionist painting, or the abstract storytelling of contemporary art sculpture, art speaks to the universal and the deeply personal. In this chapter, Noah celebrates the legacy of art and its power to reveal the beauty of the human inner world.

Through eras and civilizations, diverse beliefs have illuminated the human spirit. In this section, Noah explores the enduring significance of faith, unraveling the threads that bind humanity to spirituality, purpose, and solace in moments of tribulation.

Noah delves into the invaluable legacy of myths and legends that have accompanied humanity for centuries. These stories not only entertained but also conveyed lessons, moral principles, and historical events, becoming an integral part of human culture.

Entertainment takes many forms, from exhilarating roller coasters to daring skydiving and base jumping. These diverse experiences provided a unique opportunity for individuals to feel fully alive and immersed in the present moment. For many, these activities go beyond mere enjoyment — they become avenues for overcoming fears, expressing courage, and discovering new dimensions of personal capabilities. Noah, in this section, recalls the excitement of various entertainments that stirred strong emotions and adrenaline rushes.

After all, this story is not only an encyclopedia of the earth, but also Noah's personal diary. About his life before the explosion, about life on the ship, about how he copes with the loneliness that befalls him, and about how his relationship with the aliens who saved him develops. It's not a space opera, but it's important to us that you love the protagonist, just as we love him. Because it is through his eyes that we will look at ourselves from the pages of this book.

He writes for an extraterrestrial civilization unknown to him, trying to make sense of the entire human experience and collect in one book all the most outstanding and beautiful and amazing things that have been created by humans and nature itself.

In addition, by a happy coincidence, Noah Kaplan turns out to be not only an inquisitive and erudite man, but also a fine artist. He hopes that from his pen and paints will arise a wonderful work, worthy of any alien museum.

Obviously, telling the creatures who abducted you in a hyper-advanced spaceship about the technological discoveries of the earthlings is rather presumptuous, if not plain dull. So Noah focuses more on cultural and social histories: movies, music, paintings, and architectural feats. Maybe he'll decide to talk about why people competed in the Olympics or presidential elections. More likely he won’t do that.

We have been thinking for half a year about what we would write about if we were in a similar situation. It is a very difficult question: What things retain meaning and value when they lose their earthly context? And we invite you to think with us. Write to us about what you would add to this book, either via email or in the comments on this page.

You can add any of the pledges, as well as a number of items, to add-ons.

Our main goal is to bring you an incredible reading experience with Noah's adventures. But how much we can bring this story to life depends on the funding we receive from you. That's why we've set different goals to help us reach important milestones.

When we reach higher funding levels, we can do even more with the book. We'll add more pages, illustrations, and details to make Noah's story even more immersive. Just imagine the depth and richness it will bring! Keep in mind that as the book becomes more elaborate, the cost to produce each copy may increase slightly. So, the price of the book will go up as we reach each funding goal.

By contributing to a higher funding level, you're not only helping us create an incredible book, but you'll also receive a unique and more valuable copy. It will reflect the extra content and higher production quality that your support made possible. Together, we can make Noah's adventures truly extraordinary!
