Anthony grew up in Georgetown, Ma. He loves all sports and is quite an athlete himself. He played football at Austin Prep under coach Maradie's Super Bowl championship team. He earned a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice at Umass Lowell while working part time as a private investigator and as a bartender at the Sylvan Street Grill.

Four and a half years ago he had an accident while riding his bicycle and was taken to the hospital. At 27 he was diagnosed with an infiltrating glioma on the right temporal lobe which required the first craniotomy. With determination and will he was able to participate, two weeks later, in the National Brain Tumor Society's annual fundraising walk in Boston.

In the following years Anthony's love for skiing brought him to Colorado where he worked various positions, but found it difficult to keep a job due to the influence of the still growing tumor in the brain. Recently, at age 32, he had a second craniotomy because of intense seizures and sickness to remove as much of the tumor as possible. The type of tumor progressed to a higher grade, an Anaplastic Astrocytoma and will require radiation, chemotherapy and additional medication to control seizures and pain.

You can help Anthony by making a donation to help pay for medical and living expenses while being treated, so Anthony may have the hope of going back to enjoying what he loves which is the outdoors and his two dogs, Dozer the American bulldog and Griffin the pug.

Any donation you make to help Anthony will be greatly appreciated (no donation is too small).
