Arden Cove is a line of stylish travel bags that allow you to travel with confidence. While our bags may seen like normal purses, they’re actually jam packed with features to make your life easy on the road. No longer do you have to worry about your items getting water damage, or becoming a victim of pickpockets, purse theft, or identity theft.

You don’t have to pick between a functional but drab bag, or a cute but impractical purse. Our bags provide both practicality and good looks without compromise.

We’ve already made crossbodies that we funded on Indiegogo last year. We’ve shipped them out to customers who carry them around the world everyday and LOVE their bags. We’re so excited to expand our line and present the Marina Convertible Wallet, Midi Surie Satchel, and Grande Surie Satchel, 

We’ve designed these bags with the feedback of you guys - our customers! With surveys, emails, phone calls and chats with people who use our bags everyday, we wanted to know what we what more we could bring to the table. The result: meticulously designed styles with features that take care of everything!

Last year, we released our original Anti-theft Waterproof Crossbodies. It was a big success. We hit our goal in just 6 days, and ended up shipping our bags out to over 20 different countries! Women around the world told us how much they loved their Arden Cove bags.

Also, like a luxury boutique the fabric samples of the bags color were included. Brilliant! The outer fabric quality is excellent, not flimsy and I like the bags structure and its substantial feel. I am very happy with the lobster claw clasp security feature, it is easy to use and it blends in so well with the gold chain detail that you cannot even tell if it is locked. Arden Cove was founded by two sisters in San Francisco, who were searching for the perfect travel bag. One that was anti-theft, waterproof, and had pockets that actually made sense. When we wouldn’t find it, we made one. Since 2016, we’ve been shipping these bags out, and are so happy to create more designs and expand our line in hopes that any woman who loves our values will be able to find a bag that suits their lifestyle and tastes.

It all started on Carmen's honeymoon amid the lush open rice paddies in the town of Ubud in Bali, Indonesia. She was caught in a sudden rainstorm and her generic anti-theft crossbody  became thoroughly soaked in the rain. Everything, including her rupiahs, passport, and phone, were dripping wet or non-functional.

Karin also traveled with the same crossbodies on study abroad trips to France. While she remained safe as her classmates were being pick-pocketed left and right, her bag started falling apart at the seams. We were tired of the unfashionable and cheaply made anti-theft crossbodies out there.

Why crowdfunding with Indiegogo?

We launched our crossbody bags with Indiegogo last year to raise the capital needed to fund the initial order of bags. It can cost a lot to order all the materials and produce the bags, and there’s a minimum number of bags we need to order at once - so that can be a pretty big price tag for our young company. It's literally just the two of us, so it’s pretty amazing to use crowdfunding to connect personally with an awesome community and people like you who can help support us and spread the word! We’re in it for the long run, so your feedback as early supporter matter to us so much. We hope you’ll join us in this journey. We need you to make this happen!

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Yes! We ship to anywhere in the world. Shipping is free for U.S., and discounted for international orders. Please be aware of the specific import taxes and tariffs of the country you live in.

Q: When will I receive the bag I purchased?

A: We will fulfill the bags in March 2018. Barring any issues with production and shipping. 

Q: Why is fulfillment so far away? Can I get them sooner?

Because this is a crowdfunded project, you cannot receive the bags earlier - they aren’t made yet! If you’ve never crowdfunded a project, don’t worry. Here’s how it works:

When you back a project it raises the amount funded for that specific campaign. Once the campaign reaches it’s goal, it is successful! You’re guaranteed to get the product. Some projects will cancel if the goal isn’t met and they will not charge you. We are not one of them and will definitely fulfill your orders.

From there, the funds raised can increase with more contributions and break “reach goals”. This will unlock perks that were previously unavailable. For example, our $20,000 reach goal is adding another color option. It’s basically a reward for raising more money than needed for our minimum needs, allowing us to have more monetary flexibility. If there’s a stretch goal you want, be sure to share our campaign with friends and family to help us reach that goal!

Each campaign has a number of days that they are running. We are running for 25 days. Once those 25 days are over, the campaign ends (Dec 22). We send you an email with a survey where you can tell us what color you would like your bags in. 

This is when we start producing the products with the funds raised through the campaign. Once they are made and in our possession, we will ship them out! Our perk fulfillment will be in March 2018. You will receive an email with a tracking code and we will post updates on Indiegogo so you can know when to expect a package at your door.
