“MY DREAMS IN FILM": The autobiography has been realized as a docudrama (8 episodes of 30’ each) in which scenes, recreated with actors, conversations with film directors, and musicians all representing the great Italian cinema of the 70s, come in succession. (DIRECTORS: Dario Argento, Pupi Avati , Lamberto Bava, Luigi Cozzi, Ruggero Deodato, Lucio Fulci, Sergio Martino, MUSICIANS: Stelvio Cipriani, Claudio Simonetti, Axel Trolese, Roberto Prosseda, SPECIAL EFFECTS: Sergio Stivaletti, ACTORS: Lino Capolicchio, Stefania Casini, REVIEWERS: Steve della Casa, Claudio Bartolini, Antonio Tentori). Preferring the reconstruction by images instead of on paper encouraged me not only to remember but to literally give memories life, recovering and organizing them from the huge photo-cinematographic archive of my professional and personal life and not. Moreover reconstructing anecdotes, experiences and significant moments of my life has been funny as I became the director of myself and informal interviewer of colleagues and friends. It has been a challenge I faced with enthusiasm and with the hope to realize something not only captivating but even exemplary from a professional perspective; something even useful to those who, young and driven by the same passion as mine, willfully seek to become a movie director when adult.

I MIEI SOGNI IN PELLICOLA. L’autobiografia è stata realizzata come una docufiction(8 episodi da 30’ l’uno) in cui si alternano scene ricostruite con attori, chiacchierate con registi, attori e musicisti molti dei quali hanno fatto grande il cinema di genere italiano degli anni 70 (REGISTI: Dario Argento, Pupi Avati , Lamberto Bava, Luigi Cozzi, Ruggero Deodato, Lucio Fulci, Sergio Martino, MUSICISTI: Stelvio Cipriani, Claudio Simonetti, Axel Trolese, Roberto Prosseda, EFFETTI SPECIALI: Sergio Stivaletti, ATTORI: Lino Capolicchio, Stefania Casini, CRITICI: Steve della Casa, Claudio Bartolini, Antonio Tentori). L’idea di ricostruire per immagini, anziché in cartaceo, la mia biografia mi ha stimolato dunque non solo o semplicemente a “ricordare”, ma a “dar vita” ai ricordi attingendo dall’immenso archivio foto-cinematografico della mia vita professionale e non. Un’occasione questa che mi ha permesso di ricostruire aneddoti, esperienze e momenti significativi, diventando regista di me stesso e “intervistatore” informale di amici e colleghi. Una vera e propria sfida quindi, alla quale ho risposto con entusiasmo e con la speranza che ne possa nascere un prodotto non solo accattivante e professionalmente ineccepibile, ma anche utile a chi, giovane e spinto dalla mia stessa passione, si sia caparbiamente messo in testa di voler fare “da grande” il regista.

"THE PAST RECALLS”. It is a medium-length movie, a thriller noir which characters adapt incredibily the actors of "Solamente Nero", the my movie of 1978. But now we are in 2018 and the two, LinoCapolicchio and Stefania Casini, have accepted to interpret the storythat tells about the tragic past that returns to torment the solitary existence of an ancient man, a successful thriller’s writer still tormented by a tragic past that returns to his present. Neurotic to the limit to be psychotic, he is victim of hallucinations and terrifying visions that at times are so realistic that make him accept to meet a mysterious woman she contacted him by email writing him the ambiguous text "I will save you". That enigmatic and sultry woman seems to know very much about his life even things that he has tenaciously removed for twenty years from his own mind.

CLARA LA PRIMA MOGLIE. Si tratta di un film medio metraggio, un thriller noir i cui personaggi sono stati scritti per essere interpretati da Lino Capolicchio e Stefania Casini, attori di Solamente Nero, il mio film del 1978. Tempo ne è passato e ora, nel 2019, questi due miei amici e volti noti del cinema italiano, hanno accettato di raccontare la storia di un tragico passato che ritorna a turbare l’esistenza solitaria di un anziano scrittore di thriller di successo. Nevrotico al limite della psicosi, il protagonista è preda di allucinazioni e visioni terrificanti, talvolta così “realistiche” da fargli accettare di incontrarsi con una donna enigmatica e conturbante che sembra sapere molto della sua vita, persino cose che lui per vent’anni ha tenacemente rimosso …

The project and reasons for sustaining it:
My aim is to realize for you a box containing the Blu Ray and the DVD of both the autobiography "My Dreams in Film" and of the medium length movie ”The Past Recalls”. Extras will be abundant, full of various backstages, other not edited interviews, short length movies realized when I was young, experimental movies, spectacural documentaries, latest videoclips and much more. I sustained individually the production costs of the autobiography but now your contribution is fundamental for the realization of the post production of it, it is very expensive given the duration (4 hours), and even for the realization of both the production and post production of the movie “The Past Recalls" lasting 30/40 minutes. I care about this movie al lot, as it allows me and you to see together again two icons of the Italian cinema, Lino Capolicchio (La casa dalle finestre che ridono by Pupi Avati) and Stefania Casini (Suspiria by Dario Argento).

Il progetto e perché sostenerlo
Il mio obiettivo è quello di realizzare per voi un cofanetto contenente il Blu Ray e il DVD dell’autobiografia I MIEI SOGNI IN PELLICOLA e del film medio metraggio CLARA LA PRIMA MOGLIE. Voi sarete i primi a vedere questi film. Gli extra saranno ricchissimi e conterranno vari backstage, altre interviste non montate, cortometraggi realizzati quando ero ragazzo, film sperimentali, documentari spettacolari, gli ultimi videoclip e molto altro ancora. Ho sostenuto personalmente tutte le spese relative alla produzione dell’autobiografia, ma ora il tuo contributo è fondamentale per la realizzazione della postproduzione dell’autobiografia, molto costosa visto che dura 4 ore, e soprattutto per la produzione e la postproduzione del film medio metraggio CLARA LA PRIMA MOGLIE della durata di 30/40 minuti. Tengo moltissimo a questo film, perché darà a me e a tutti voi l’occasione di rivedere insieme due icone del cinema italiano, Lino Capolicchio (La casa dalle finestre che ridono di Pupi Avati) e Stefania Casini (Suspiria di Dario Argento).

Di cinema, in tutte le sue varianti, sono vissuto e vivo. Sono fermamente convinto che ciò da me finora realizzato sia garanzia di qualità e di originalità stilistica, meritevole prima delle vostra fiducia e stima e poi del vostro sostegno economico. Una bellissima villa ottocentesca a più piani, raffinata e misteriosa. E’ dalla solitudine del suo parco che Stefano, il protagonista, vedrà riaffiorare un passato nevroticamente negato.
