Antumbra 2, as its prequel is a very surreal point-and-click horror adventure game. It has a powerful storyline, immersing audio, surreal graphics and atmosphere thick and sticky like tar.
Its an adventure game like nothing else, taking inspiration from things like Silent Hill, Darkseed, Event Horizon, Lovecraft, H.R. Giger, Zdzislaw Beksinski, Hellraiser, David Firth animations, Alice in Wonderland, Planescape: Torment and many many others.
The idea is to make Antumbra 2 to be for Antumbra 1 what Half Life 2 was for Half Life 1 - to take everything what was great in the prequel and expand it, polish it, add new extensions, and basically to make it bigger, better and more badass.
Antumbra 2 is an attempt to bring back from the grave the Adventure/Point and Click genre which over the years degraded into Hidden Object Games with difficulty setting locked on kindergarten level.

Antumbra takes place directly after the first part. After Eskalion awaking. Eskalion is weak and lost most of his powers. His realm, Sorma'Ksul is being ruled by his darken half, which makes the land twisted, corrupted and surreal.
Player is forced to help Eskalion regain his power and rule. Which is more of a need rather then choice, because Player is trapped in the Sorma'Ksul and cannot go back to reality. Eskalion promised, that once he regains his powers he would the Player go back to his homedimension.

Antumbra 1 was made by me and me only. Every sound effect, every voice over, every animation, every special effect, every piece of graphics, every music track, every line of code, every dialog, design and story - I made myself from scratch.
To be honest, I never intended Antumbra 1 to become so popular, as I've made it mostly for myself. At that time, I was in a terrible state of mind. Problems, both of mental and physical nature were piling up taking my breath away.
So I took all of them and turned them into an interactive game. And by doing so I partially set myself free. Then, the people came. And rained their awe and love on me and my creation. To this day, hundreds of people are requesting me to continue my story. To show them the whole thing.
Antumbra is my own personal purgatory. For over 30 years of my life I've experienced pains and misery like nothing else. Which was decades left me wounded and bleeding. And here, with Antumbra - those wounds are being healed and cured.
Antumbra is not a game. It's an experience. Oh journey through the darkest and at the same time - most beautiful realm there is - a tormented mortal man heart, soul and mind.

Most of the available perks are self-explanatory, but let me focus on a few that I think deserve a short description.
DRM-free Antumbra 1 Deluxe: this is a desktop version of the first Antumbra game with new locations, old one being re-designed , better code, better graphic design and new achievements.
DRM-free Antumbra 2 Deluxe: This version will be available for my IndieGoGo supporters only. The game will have more music, locations and some hidden secrets not available in a regular Antumbra 2 version. Backers exclusive. This version will never be officialy published.
Original Drone Locker Ambient Albums: I've released 3 dark ambient albums on bandcamp that I want to share with you guys.
Create your own character / location in-game: I will e-mail you and work on adding character, location or both (depends on your pledge) to Antumbra 2. However. please bare in mind that every character / location have to fit the Antumbra world.

NONE! :D Surprised? Well let me explain... But please, read it all. I know, we all hate walls of text, but this one's important. Forgive me, but this just cannot be explained in handful of words.
First of all, I am well known for my extreme honesty. For the past couple of days, I've been brainstorming what kind of stretch goals should be available for all my IndieGoGo supporters. Unfortunately, I couldn't come up with anything cool and flashy while still being just me - an indie developer. So here's what I've come up with.
Every penny counts. For the initial 3000 $ I will develop A2 the size of A1. And that's it. That's the spine, the backbone. But its a tiny percentage of what I would WISH to make. More locations, characters, riddles, stories, dialogs, inventory system, runic magic system, combat system, player familiar/companion, full voice-over, better graphics, animations, nonlinear elements that changes with each playthrough, many endings, random encounters, replayable content and much more. The list is big.
My friends, I find it very hard for me to take anything from the list and just glue it to an exact stretch goal. Like "6000 $ - voice over." Because the voice over will be there anyway; the size of it though depends on how successful my IGG campaign will be. I cannot say "$9000 - 100 locations", because this is just a silly number. Think The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. Who gives a damn how big the gameworld is, if its damn dead, empty and repeatable...? It's all about polishing and putting more "meat on the bones". The more money I have the more features I can add.
Because I do everything myself (graphic design, animations, music, voice over, sfx, code) it's hard to put a price tag on it. Because I am doing the work of at least 6 people. So should give myself 6 independent salaries...? I don't think so.
That being said, I am ready to make something amazing - I "just" need your support!

Because Love Is A Two-Way, Mutual Thing.
Although my game is dark and unforgiving, the story of this campaign is pretty simple; full of love and appreciation. Antumbra was my first proper game in the genre of horror adventure published for free on Newgrounds, GameJolt and Kongregate platforms.
After the initial release you, the community of the Internet, gave me an incredible, unimaginable amount of love and constructive feedback. I was truly humbled by your response.
It was so unexpectedly well-received that by popular demand it is time for a bigger, better & story-expanding sequel - Antumbra 2: Chant of Dust!

Antumbra 2: Chant of Ash is going to be a deep, personal experience for every player just like Antumbra 1 was. That being said, although I'm expecting to finish this game 6 months from the successfully funded campaign the release date might be slightly delayed.
This game is also my first, proper game project. I've done many in the past, but this is the one that got people hooked. And I want to deliver the same level of emotions you felt in the original Antumbra.
