Mining at Anvil Creek
We will be mining an Ancient river channel along Anvil Creek near Nome, Alaska. Anvil Creek and the Ancient river channels were very rich, and we are on a piece of near virgin channel where old timers mined sporadically underground by hand. We will be using a Caterpillar D8 or larger Dozer, a Hitachi excavator, a loader, and an 80 yard per hour wash plant. Northstar Gold's Project located on private property produced thousands of ounces in the 1980’s by previous operators until gold prices fell and the depth of bedrock increased from 30ft to 50ft on average. With gold prices now much higher we will be mining hard to clean the bedrock and wash pay dirt.

We are heading to Nome during the second week in May, have capital, and are already fully committed to mine. We are serious small businessmen and are striving to produce 1,000 ounces of raw placer gold this year. To do this we will need to mine a 500ft long cut and sell some of our gold throughout the season to keep advancing the the pit while shooting for a big take by end of the season.
HOW TO BECOME AN ALASKAN MINER
We are looking for donations for additional capital as mining is expensive especially in Nome. Gold placer mining is the family farm of the North. Just like a farmer may produce potatoes (hope we find a nugget that big!), and potatoes are their product, our product is a Metal (All Natural Alaskan Placer Gold straight from the earth).
One of our Perks for our Contributors is “Mine Portal” which is your 2012 Season access point to the miner’s blog and our weekly online videos showing our work towards mining the Channel.
Contributors will receive a password through email to access the Mine Portal and a weekly password on Fridays to the first showing of our weekly shows on Saturday Nights. We also have another feature in Mine Portal called the “Gold Counter” which tracks our weekly gross production of placer gold at the mine.
Another great Perk is a Sample of our Product. After the end of our mining season (November 1st), Contributors above the "Alaskan Passport Level" will receive a Sample of our Product – “All Natural Raw Alaskan Placer Gold”. With our product sample Contributors will receive a Certificate of Authenticity by Adrian our Gemologist.
