Thousands of people become victims of theft at the beach every year, which leads to the unpleasant situation of not being able to relax because they must keep an eye out for their belongings, while instead, they should be chilling out and enjoying their vacation or their favorite water sport!

Usually we place all our stuff in a sea bag and try to enjoy swimming. This can be quite an issue, since, no one really likes staying behind alone to watch out for such an occasion. We would hate to come back only to find everything stolen. A very unpleasant situation as you can imagine.

Of course you could also try to hide them under the sand :)

But don't worry. AquaSafeBag can solve this problem!

What AquaSafeBag can do to solve this?

AquaSafeBag deals with this problem by being made entirely of waterproof material, as well as having an airtight/waterproof case, that allows us to place our valuables inside and protect them from harm or theft. This special case, provides excellent protection against water and even if it is left unsealed, water still cannot penetrate it.

Why is this so special? 

Well, we have taken it a step further by implementing a life preserver! In the small front pocket of the bag, we have placed an air cartridge that can make the life preserver spring out of its container and be fully fledged in less than 3 seconds by simply pulling a small cord.

Just attach the air cartridge:

If you need to use it just pull the string:

And the life preserver will automatically inflate in just 3 seconds:

The preserver and the bag can be of course used as many times as you like, either by replacing the air cartridge or by just blowing in the tube.

And don't worry about the cost of the air cartridge, we converted the air cartridge mechanism to use common affordable bike air cartridges (bike pumps) that can be found easily at various bike stores or other hardware shops.

The life preserver can support enough weight for a big swimmer, and it is not just for personal use since it can be easily detached from the bag!

Have you ever been for a swim and a person near you needs help?

If we are not familiar with the correct way to assist that person, we might run into a very serious issue or other unpleasant scenarios.

However by using AquaSafeBag, we can simply pull the cord:

...and give that person the life preserver from a safe distance and then easily help that person swim out.

The next steps

We are happy to be currently at final prototype stage on our first order batch. Our first 300 AquaSafeBags (first design version) are already here and have been quality control checked.

On reaching our funding goal your money will go directly on moving the AquaSafeBag from final prototype stage into serious production numbers with a much lower cost. 

The original AquaSafeBag was created for local use but we decided to move it to production since the reviews to it from friends has been very enthusiastic. USA, Australia, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Brazil, Caribbean, Turkey, Croatia, Egypt are only some of the countries with great beaches and famous locations for sports like surfing, kite surfing, water skiing and others. 

So in the last 12 months we redesigned it and made a few improvements along the way for production at a low cost. We also converted the air cartridge mechanism to use common affordable bike air cartridges (bike pumps) that can be found easily at various bike stores or other hardware stores.

We already have made 300 of them (first design version), but we’ve found a manufacturing partner capable of delivering the level of quality that is needed, at the right low price if we can order batches of 2500 bags or more. And this is where we need all you, since when you back this project you actually pre-order your very own AquaSafeBag.

Of course we have to note that AquaSafeBag is a gadget and not a safety tool, so it cannot replace a life vest or any other certified safety equipment.
