Summary
I study BA (Hons) Media Production at Bournemouth University and for my graduate project I am creating a short fictional film.
The film follows a 7-year-old boy named Archie who is deeply passionate about flying and all thing related to aeroplanes. After the death of his mother, who was a member of the Women's Royal Air Force, Archie goes on an impossible quest to fly. Unfortunately, it isn't as easy as Archie expected as he faces many obstacles and learns to seek closure for his mother's death elsewhere.
The aim is to be a highly visual and nostalgic film which will engage with a wide audience.
How Can You Help?
It's quite simple really! I have a maximum budget of £500 which means I'll be able to get the best out of my film. The more money I have the bigger the production. All the funds will go towards actors, locations, travel, props, food, costume etc.
- You can donate some money to my film which will come with some perks.
- Get your friends and family involved by sharing this campaign on social media.
- Spread the word!
Every bit of help will be acknowledged and appreciated!
What's next?
After I've made my film, I'll be submitting it to film festivals to get as much recognition as possible and hopefully win an award or two. This also means your contribution will go a lot further than my degree and YOUR name on the credits will be seen by hundreds of people!
Thank you!
