Short Summary
Hi, I am Ariel Talei, and music is my life breath. I believe I have stories to share that may resonate with anyone who has struggled through life with bullying and social isolation from anxiety and depression as well as those who struggle with coping with the scars these events have left on their hearts. It is my hope that everyone who listens to my music can hear both the pain and the resolution, knowing there is hope and that you are not defined by others but solely by your own self worth.

Risks & Challenges
It is very clear that the music industry has changed from the days of being "discovered". It is up to the individual artist to be songwriter, performer, producer, promoter, and much more. This is a very good thing since the artist does have more control over their music. The down side is the lack financial backing by a "record label", and like any new business, there is always the risk of failure.
"There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure." Colin Powell
I have written my goals, have done my research, studied my craft, have mentors who guide me, and one thing I am is persistent. Most of all, I love what I do.

Ariel Talei
"Ariel Talei is excited to release her first original single, “Getaway” produced by Grammy award winning music producer, Holger Fath. Her songs reflect the many conflicting experiences a teenager goes through. Pop/R&B being her main style, she is also influenced by Jazz singers of the like of Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Holiday. She is especially pleased to be able to release this song on June 4 in celebration of her 18th birthday.
Ariel Talei’s melodic vocals on “Getaway” will have you drifting along with a story that will resonant with everyone’s memory of making mistakes and its associated feelings of wanting to escape from those mistakes.
Although “Getaway” is her first single, Ariel Talei’s is not a newcomer to musical performance and production. She has studied various vocal genera since she was 8 years old. From musical theater to opera she has taken something from everything she has learned to create her own style. She has studied under Dana Rouse (California Lutheran vocal department and Los Robles Children’s Choir) for both pop and classical, and Ken Stacey (touring vocalist for Elton John Band vocalist, the Michael Jackson "This Is It" Band, and currently Lead Vocalist/Front Man Ambrosia) for pop/rock.
She also participated in the Los Robles Children Choir, Oaks Christian Middle and High School choirs, high school A Cappella group, and musical theater. Her senior year she was awarded Vocalist of the Year. One of her last high school solos was “Never Enough” from the movie The Greatest Showman. One reviewer posted on Oaks Facebook page stated “Ariel Trussell blew the crowd out the water as she sung Never Enough.” Another reviewer wrote on his Facebook page “I’ve been to hundreds of live shows, and once in a while you witness a performance so incredible, there are no words to describe the experience and the majesty of what you’ve just witnessed. This performance is one of the moments. Even more amazing is that she’s a senior in high school. We need to add this to the Music of Your Life Radio”.
While in high school she participated in several collaborative ventures with the Academy of Music and Business and The Songwriters Academy both of Sweden. One of the products from the collaboration will be featured on her EP that is due to be release at the end of 2019."
She is currently a freshman at Azusa Pacific University studying Commercial Music.
