THE STORY

When Dylan Wilson purchases a collection of seven paintings to hang in his wealthy estate, he has no idea what horrors he has unleashed for himself, his wife; Gina, his college son; Louis, his teen-age daughter; Donna, and his two little kids. Only Father Mendale knows what evils lurk inside this deadly art and the history of Dorian Wilde; the artist who made a pact with dark forces when he created these paintings that represent the seven deadly sins. Now, anyone who comes in contact with these pictures are corrupted by Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, Envy, and Wrath! It's up to Father Mendale and Louis' girlfriend; Kim to save Dylan and his family before they are all destroyed by the art of the dead.

THE CAST

With Tara Reid from (“the American Pie” series, the “Sharknado” series”, “The Big Lebowski”, “Urban Legend”, and most recently “Bus Party To Hell”) leading the cast, “Art Of The Dead” promises beauty and talent filling every frame. Also signed on is Lukas Hassel (“The Black Room”, TV's “The Blacklist”,), Jessica Morris (TV's “One Life To Live”, “The Wrong Roommate”, “CSI: NY”), and Robert Donavan (“The Black Room”, “The Hazing”, “Nightmare Man”, “Rod Steele 0014”).

THE MOVIE TEAM

Art Of The Dead promises to be cool, twisted movie for horror lovers everywhere. We have assembled a great team both in front and behind the camera starting with writer/director: Rolfe Kanefsky.

Rolfe Kanefsky is an award-winning screenwriter/director who has been working professionally in the film business for over twenty-five years. His debut film, the cult horror comedy THERE'S NOTHING OUT THERE was met with rave reviews such as-- “NOTHING has a lot going for it”- L.A. Times.

“Rolfe Kanefsky invented the self-referential horror flick with THERE'S NOTHING OUT THERE (an idea copied by Kevin Williamson's screenplay for SCREAM several years later).”- Job Bob Briggs.

Kanefsky's most recent horror films entitled, “THE BLACK ROOM” starring Natasha Henstridge, Lin Shaye, Dominique Swain, and James Duval hit select theaters last year and is currently on Netflix. He teamed up with Mahal Empire to make “BUS PARTY TO HELL” hitting movie theater screens this April. Other past horror films include, “THE HAZING” starring Brad Dourif, The After Dark/Lions Gate 8 Films To Die For selection “NIGHTMARE MAN”, the Warner Brothers release, “JACQUELINE HYDE”, “CORPSES” starring Jeff Fahey, and many more!

This being a horror film, we knew the special effects had to be top of the line and to create our practical effects, we hired Award-Winning F/X master Vincent Guastini of V.G.P Effects and Design. With over 33 years of creature work in the business and credits such as “Requiem For A Dream”, “Dogma”, “Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey”, “Child's Play 3”, “The Black Room”, “Flags Of Our Fathers”, “The Dark Tapes”, and countless others, “Art Of The Dead” promises some really amazing state-of-the-art effects!
