The purpose
of the art2water organization is to fund projects that provide clean water and sanitation capabilities to people in need around the world.
Nearly 800 million people in the
world today lack access to adequate water and 2.5 billion people lack access to
improved sanitation. We are dedicated to overcoming this major problem.
The idea is to give those whose lives have been privileged an opportunity to fight for those who can't fight for

Background
art2water is
a dream that we want to make a reality starting in 2014. The concept was originally to use proceeds from the sale of artistic paintings, mostly custom reproductions of masterpieces, to fund qualified clean water projects around the world.
art2water held its first fundraiser with friends in Texas to see if it was an idea to which people would respond.
The first fundraiser was a demonstrated success. We raised $3,000 through the sale of just 10 paintings. That initial success proved the concept and gave us the confidence that art2water can make a significant impact.
The goal is to raise the awareness of the water crisis. The plan is to provide clean water and sanitation capabilities in perilous places
such as Sudan, Cambodia, Uganda and Rwanda.
The Plan
The plan is to provide quality, but affordable, art to people who understand and appreciate art and have a desire to help those less fortunate then themselves. By purchasing art from art2water, proceeds will be donated to qualified organizations that provide clean water and sanitation capabilities.
art2water has established relationships with a number of excellent reproduction artists worlwide. These artists have the skills and ability to create high quality artistic reproductions of you choosing, including:

By purchasing though art2water, not only are you helping those who desperately need clean water, you are also helping artists in the art2water network, most of whom are from emerging countries.
art2water has assembled an initial team and this initial funding will be for a dedicated website, to establish a social media presence and to structure a plan to establish art2water as a self-sustaining organization.
Funding Requirements
In order to launch art2water, $5,000 is needed. The goal is to raise the necessary funds by January 31, 2014.

- Purchase initial inventory of fine art reproductions.

Set-up infrastructure to ensure art2water becomes a self-sustaining organization.
